Is there any possible way to make newer x2m’s compatible with an older version of the xv2ins installer? I’m using one that was released before the newest one. I don’t wanna lose everything by upgrading the game itself again, put so much into it to lose it lol.

Nothing that can really be helped other than redownloading all the mods you have to the updated one. It helps a lot to keep all your mods in a folder labeled dbxv2 mods or whatever, so this doesn’t happen again

I figured it out and my method worked. All i had to do was change a value in the new x2m character archives and then installed them. it worked.

All I had to do was open an x2m with winrar. Extract that character x2m’s xml file only.  then open the xml with notepad and find the number at top called “17.1000004” and change it to “15.1999998”   save the xml file then go back to your winrar window that has the opened x2m file. Then at the top left hit the add button and find the modified xml you did for the archive and select it. from there just hit ok. close winrar and then with xv2ins install the x2m file that you just modified and run the game. the characters appear.

I also just realized this method works with maps as well.
