Overpowered Railgun
This mod turns an already strong Railgun into an overpowered semi-automatic monstrosity.
Primary fire:
- unlimited ammo
- charging removed, fires the stronger beam by default [player only; enemies still need to charge the weapon before firing]
- base fire rate set to 1 second
- magazine size increased to 12 rounds
- effective range increased to 1500
- pinpoint accuracy
- no recoil
- reduced camera shake when firing
- player will not take damage from firing the weapon at point blank range
Secondary fire:
- unlimited ammo
Guard drones deployed by the secondary fire also received a few buffs:
- increased health
- drone machine gun damage and fire rate doubled [total DPS increased from 40 to 160]
- increased optimal and maximum attack range
- revised enemy targeting priorities
Deployed drones will now prioritise helicopters and other drones, followed by snipers, RPGs, mounted gunners and LMG-wielding enemies.
Increased damage output makes them very effective at dealing with common soldiers, while armoured targets like tanks might take longer to destroy.
They're still not very smart, but it's better than nothing.

Download and set up a modloader, then extract the dropzone folder from the archive into your Just Cause 4 install directory.
It’s now working. I’m using game’s latest version.

But it looks like the mod won’t work if you get the railgun from suply drop for some reason. Tried getting one from Pachakawri and the mod works.
