Improved English Opening and Cutscenes Mod
Edited cutscenes to attempt to match the English voice lines better to the lip movement, and or removing unnecessary lines and adding better music to some scenes.
The file size is very large but the reason for that was I didn't want quality to degrade during the export and USM conversion process
A lot of the English cutscenes are somewhat of poor quality, voice lines don't match the lip movement (Something Bandai neglected to do), lines are nothing like the Original Japanese audio (I.e. the first cutscene). So I sought to remedy that for some of the major cutscenes.
I have also added music to some cutscenes inspired by the famous "DragonBall Z Abridged" that fans of the online series will recognize and hopefully enjoy. One of which I had to remake from the ground up due to the fact that the sound FX were baked in with the music (Day of Fate Super Saiyan 2 Gohan) if I wanted to properly replace the music. I can happily report I tirelessly worked to remake all the sound FX (With some minor personal improvements).
Opening is the same, a downscaled 4k 60fps version of the opening with the English cover of Cha-La by Natewantstobattle that I think fits the footage much better than the original.
I will have videos showing them off so you can decide if you want to pick and choose your cutscenes.
I have split the files by saga, hopefully that'll make things easier to download, all files are up to date and exported at full quality
New cutscene videos are in the videos tab
Super simple, and I've tested it on my own system so I know it works
simply extract the zip file anywhere you want or open archive and place the mod file wherever you want.
Navigate to the device you downloaded your game, go into Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> DRAGON BALL Z KAKAROT -> AT -> Content -> Movies.
Make a backup of the original USM files as that will be the vanilla version should you choose to go back.
drag and drop or copy my updated version of the file and into the file location and click "replace the file in the destination"
and you're donion rings :)
I really enjoyed making these and I hope you guys will enjoy them as well.
