Ride The Bus

Notes:

• Unfortunately the steps leading to the doors of the bus are slightly higher than Vito's knees, meaning he cannot simply walk onto the bus. To ride the bus, drive a car next to the doors on the right side of a bus while it is parked at a bus stop. Quickly exit the car, jump on top of it, and walk into the doors, which are not solid. In other words, you must use something as a platform to step through the doors, like a short car, in order to enter the slightly elevated doorway.

Description:

• This mod solidifies the interior of the bus and removes the collision on the doors, so Vito can walk through them. This was done by replacing the bus seen on the streets of Empire Bay, which had its interior collision removed after public transportation was cut to conserve memory, with the prison bus, which was not edited after the removal of public transportation.

Installation:

Installation:

1. Drag the folder called "pc" found in the mod's .zip file to "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia II".
   • If you're running a non-Steam version, drag it to your "/Mafia II" folder, wherever it may be.
2. Windows will tell you that "This destination already contains a folder named 'pc'."
3. Click "Yes" when prompted to merge the new folder with the existing one.
4. Click "Yes" each time a new folder must be merged.
5. Click "Copy and Replace" repeatedly to replace the existing file(s) with the modded one(s).
   • Alternatively, you can stop before you replace the file/files and create a backup of it/them.
