Lincon Cop mod

New Bordeaux’s got a history of crooked, racist cops, but they needed to reach out and diversify. Welcome to the newest member of the force, Lincon Clay!

This is a simple texture mod that replaces the Fed outfit to that of one of a New Bordeaux police Uniform. As this is my first mod, I don’t really know what I’m doing, so, if you have any feedback or advise, please, don’t hesitate to give it!

Disclaimer:
Always back up your files before modding the game. But, to make things a bit easier, I included a back up of the original files
within this mod.

I have created this using Mafia 3 Definitive Edition, and therefore, I have no idea if it will work on the regular edition of the game.

This is simply a skin mod for the Fed outfit, this is NOT a full police conversion mod like G17’s famous First Response series.
As such, police will still react to you and attack you as normal, and you cannot arrest people or issue tickets or the like, and
driving a police car will still get you a wanted level.

If you do want to roleplay as a cop using this skin, all power to you. I would suggest getting a trainer, I personally use the +18 from
gamepressure, and turning on “stealth mode” or “invisablity mode” (different trainers call them different things), so the police won’t
attack you.

Known Issues:
– Colours are off. I can’t seem to get them right, will require feedback to get it them right.
– Badges are not shiny. I can’t workout how the roughness maps work, so I couldn’t get them shiny.
– Trousers/Pants are incorrect. I couldn’t figure out how to colour them, at all. Help would be appresiated.
– No hat. I don’t know how to add the police hat to Lincon.
– The name tag is wrong. I didn’t edit it.

“Do you want to build a snowman?” ~ Anna

Frozen ain’t complete without Elsa’s goofy yet lively little sister, Anna. Took me some time to rig her but it was all worth the trouble experimenting with a newer 4DS plugin.

This one’s a demo for Pudingus’ 4DS plugin for 3DS Max. While Duelist’s take on the import/export tool is fine for what it’s worth, Pudingus’ work is also promising as it imports and exports faster and handles UVs, LODs, normals and weights much better.

CONTENT DISCLAIMER/FOR PARENTS: This mod is for mature players only and is made for parodic purposes which falls under Fair Use. Due to the graphic nature of this game, this is definitely not intended for small children or sensitive audiences. I am not responsible for any ruined childhoods that may ensue from this mod. Any so-called “kids videos” using this mod are not my work and I have absolutely nothing to do with them. Seen and Not Heard (Disable Police Radio)

Ever find it odd that in an era without commonly accessible portable radios, or knowledge of how to intercept radio signals, your character is constantly tuned in to the police forces comms? This mod aim’s to fix that, by replacing the police radio waves with complete and utter silence. Use your eyes, not your ears!

After many hours playing Mafia 2, one day I thought to myself “Why is Vito (and cast) constantly tuned in to the police forces radio? How come when I shoot a civ, or steal a car, I can hear the officers telling the station?” Ultimately, I find this un-immersive, and in the end makes things way too easy for the player, seeing as there’s also multiple prompts on the screen. I decided to make this mod. ‘Seen and Not Heard’ stops all dispatch and crime reports from blaring in your ear. Now, the only indication that you have the police on your tail, will be your HUD elements, or seeing the officers pursue you. This mod covers all DLC’s, including “The Betrayal of Jimmy”, “Jimmys Vendetta” and “Joe’s Adventure”. The mod covers the English localized version of the game ONLY.

Drag the contents of the mod into your Mafia II folder. Replace files. If you’re a Steam user, your data folder should be located here:

REMEMBER! IF YOU WISH TO RESTORE YOUR GAME TO THE DEFAULT SOUND FILES, YOU MUST BACK THEM UP BEFORE INSTALLING THIS!

Simply No Screenblood

Simple mod that I made for my own personal preference, and decided to share in case other’s find it useful. The title says it all, this mod simply removes the screen-blood effect when you get shot, only leaving the small red damage indicator. I found the screen-blood obnoxious and cumbersome, as well as unnecessary as it acted as a secondary damage indicator (even though there’s already smaller, less intrusive one).

Black Default Coat Mod

A simple black coat with undershirt. I think it makes Clay look a bit more menacing.

My first texture mod creation or alteration of any kind here so let me know how it works!

I piggybacked off of alexnoncreeper’s “Punisher Default outfit” mod found here: LINK.

A lot of people are complaining about his mod not working for them.. I believe it is a patch issue so I decided to help revive the mod for up to date users while still crediting him and making slight adjustments
