Known bugs:

  • Audio files not working correctly, still says “suit energy low” instead of “hunger increases”
  • Probably some mistakes in the english text version when aliens are talking to you. I did not adjust all new products to that yet.
  • Some buildings can not be deleted once they are built. Need help with that !  Cannot figure out what allows objects to be deleted.
  • Some buildings have no collision clipping and clipping of the wooden houses has some bugs.
  • Some of the buildings are shootable, e.g. the doublecontainer. If you do so, NMS completely freezes for up to 1 or 2 minutes and you think it completely crashed. Then for some unknown reason after a loooong time waiting the explosion debris appear and you can just go on with your game. Strange but true.
  • Diplos, Sandworms, Caveworms and Triceratops are not shootable.
  • When you land on a scorched dead planet game might freeze for a few seconds !
  • Darc Logos only work on the floor, not on walls.

Huge Flying Snakes

This mod tweaks Flying snakes and makes them gigantic… Like Godzilla sized.
There are 3 versions to pick from, Bigger, Huge and Godzilla.

Flying snakes can bypass the current creature size limit which is about 7 meters. In the screenshots you can see a 55m Flying Snake…

There is a bug in the Godzilla versions where the Flying Snakes have a really wiggly wacky tail…

Less Creatures

As requested (Yes people actually requested this) this mod reduces creature spawns. This affects ALL creatures.

You can choose between the 1.25 times less and the 1.5 times less. If requested I could add an even less version (but why would someone want that?)
Reducing it even more would be unwise. There already are too little creatures.

TemplarGFX’s Wild Life

 

Wild Life for No Mans Sky takes the current system for spawning and controlling creatures in the game, and pushes it to the max!

There are almost three times the creature type definitions to ensure behavioural differences between small and large versions of any base genus.
Further to that, each possible Fauna abundance has been reworked to allow these new creature types to be used to maximum effect from miniscule to gigantic.

Behavior and movement styles have been changed as best as possible to add further variety to the creatures and make planets more dynamic and lively.  Greater chances for Predator and Defensive creatures will keep you on your toes!

 

When landing on a planet, the Fauna reading now indicates the density of life on a planet, rather than the total amount of life.  While a planet with “nonexistant” will always have no creatures, Barren planets for example can still have many creatures, although they will be greatly spread out, generally in small groups, and less likely to be large.

If you enjoy discovering the wildlife in this game, and wish for more, look no further! Every planet (well ok not EVERY planet :P) has its own unique feel due to the vast increase in possibilities
