“There I was, standing at the center of the universe. Despite the races of the galaxies having large trade federations, freighters, and skilled traders, the trade was depressingly short. I veered off the course to change that. If I am to save other travelers, I must make it easier for them to get the resources they need.”

Okay, in all seriousness, I was pretty irked by the fact that there never really was very many substances available in the Trade Station’s galactic trade terminals. I mean, I kind of got the trade outposts and small settlements not having much, but if you’re going to name something “Galactic Trade Terminal” then you should be having a pretty impressive stock. So I fixed that.

This is a really simple mod that took me about 20 minutes, 18 of which was me trying to find which file dealt with trade terminals. Now, anything that the game had coded in to be able to be sold at space stations (most, if not all, substances and products sold at stations that aren’t always available in every system) will ALWAYS be available.

Types of items available (I didn’t add any new items for sale in the trade terminals)

Anything that edits DefaultReality.MBIN


If you find a mod that edits DefaultReality.MBIN and thus won’t work with this mod, you can either be cool and teach yourself how to change it with Winmerge or, I suppose, you could nicely ask me to make a patch for it. This would of course depend on if a lot of people are using the mod in question and the author gives me permission, since I’d essentially be using their work in a new file.

Passive Sentinels

Had enough of constantly being stalked by environmentalist sentinels during your routine grind for resources? Well, weep no more, because this mod will make those pesky hovering mini robocops things totally oblivious to whatever you’re doing with that beamy mining laser thingy of yours. Finally you can destroy the environment in peace, woohoo!

This mod is incompatible with any other mods that modify GCROBOTGLOBALS.MBIN

Retrospections – Back to Atlas Rises: Color Palettes

This mod aims to restore the Atlas Rises era color palettes/combinations back into Visions/NEXT versions.

Mod adds:

  • Multi color grass: Planets can now have 2 primary colors of grass, often resulting in beautiful gradients.
  • Old color palettes for all planets

This mod doesn’t change:

  • Terrain generation
  • Water colors
  • Planetary objects (trees, plants, etc)

For the best experience i strongly recommend to use the Back to Foundation mod with it’s terrain and asset modules along with this mod.

Clear Skies – Visions

A simple mod that removes/hides the volumetric clouds and the top cloud layer.

I made this mod mainly to take some screenshots, but it turned out to look preety good, especially combined with Chromatic Skies and Crescent Worlds. So i decided to share it.

 

This mod obviously won’t be compatible with any other mods that alter clouds.

Speedy Growth and Harvest for Small Farms, NEXT 1.77

This is my first mod for No Man’s Sky NEXT. In fact, this is my first mod ever.

 

If you dis like the lengthy growth times for NEXT 1.55+, this will help considerably.

For all the plants, your growth and harvest times are no more than 1/2 hour real-time.

It’s great if you have a small farm, or just starting out.

It is completely OP if you have a lot of farms, though.

“Super Damage/One Hit Destroy” works for multi-tool, you can mine materials and kill enemies with only one hit.

Eucli-ea adds 854 new buildable objects that are either already present in the game but were not made available to players, or new flags and emblem with different themes.

This mod currently adds:

  • 20 interactive decorations, these decorations include crates and boxes that give the player materials or technology;
  • 157 gardening plants and rocks;
  • 15 types of NPCs;
  • 54 new flags and emblems;
  • 70 Miscellaneous Decals;
  • The Direct Unified Materialisation Protocol (D.U.M.P.)Station that can be built anywhere, allowing freighter storage access anywhere! Go to the Tech category to build it;
  • The Bubble Defense Shield Multiplexer (B.D.S.M)™ that can be built to provide environmental protection for a very large area;
  • The Stationed Tropospheric Uncertainty Rectification Motor (S.T.U.R.M.)™ that can be built to stop storms on demand;
  • 168 letters and punctuations;

This mod’s compatibility version uses part of theFisher86’s SimCity 5300 and Kremit’s GrowMoar Trevis’s Buildable Waterfalls, the respective parts of the mod will be removed upon the mod authors’ request.

Version number is now independent to SimCity 5300’s as the amount of added objects got out of hand.

I personally will not likely update this mod for Darc Tech, as I’m using 40 other mods and therefore don’t use Darc Tech myself. However, the process of making any mod that adds buildable objects are rather simple (you literally copy & paste some text and be done with it), so if anyone is willing to make this mod compatible with Darc Tech, I’ll be more than happy to share my experience and give instructions.

GeoNMS RU Font

I was always a little sad about the fact that standard GeoNMS font was stylised only in latin part, and cyrillic one was untouched. Time to change this and give RU version more “NMS-style”, at least for the Travellers who prefer so. 🙂
This is a tiny mod to cyrillic part. For now I just removed horizontal line in “A”, but it’s only beginning. I’ll make more when I learn better how to draw fonts (completely new thing for me).

This mod changes only GAMEFONT2.TTF file.

It looks like HG is not gonna change anything in fonts (because why?), so this mod probably would be compatible with any version. If you’ll see any incompability issues, feel free to let me know.
