No Ai Ships on Planets

This Mod removes those random noisy AI ships who hovers around on planets. I found them just too much and too loud.

So I researched parts of the outdated mod made by Architect (https://videogamemods.com/nomanssky/mods/outdated-annoyance-killer/).
And made it work for the current version of No Mans Sky: Vision.

There are two versions (each one zip-file). Use only one:

  1. No AI ships on planets at all
  2. Some AI Ships on Planets (only around the Trading ports).

This does not affect ships in outer space or interstellar hubs.

(First time making a mod and uploading it šŸ™‚ Hope this mod helps some of you guys as well.)

 

Truly Efficient Efficient Thrusters

Truly Efficient Efficient Thrusters version 1.55.01
a mod for No Man’s Sky version 1.55 (build 3020240)

Purpose:

This mod radically changes the ship launch system, especially the value of the Efficient Thrusters technology upgrade for ships. First, it reduces the base launch cost in fuel by 20% (50 to 40). Second, it DOUBLES the capacity of the launch fuel tank (400) and DOUBLES the fuel value of Starship Launch Fuel (400). Third, it reduces the minimum fuel required to summon a ship to 10% (40). Alone by themselves, those are a useful quality-of-life change, allowing 10 launches before needing to refuel even without Efficient Thrusters. Fourth, and not at all least, it makes the effect of Efficient Thrusters much more significant, reducing fuel consumption to just 10% of baseline rather than 80%. Combined, they allow for 100 launches on a full tank.

Multiplayer impact: untested, but expected to still apply the same change to the player’s ship, which might infer an unfair advantage in materials during PvP.

Legit Max Ships and Multitools-VISIONS

This Mod removes the RNG for ship and multitool classes, slots and stats.

Each ship and multitool you encounter ingame will have the best class, maximum stats and slots. If its possible to encounter a ship in S class it will spawn as S class. If you’re in a poor system it will spawn as A class. (you can choose the second mod file if you want always S class instead)

Because there seems to be a little misunderstanding what this mod does, i created a little table with the differences between unmodded and my mod.

Cheap Broken Ship Inventory Slots

This mod changes the cost to repair broken ship slots to their minimum amount of units.Ā  All ship inventory slots should be 1000 units each, while technology slots should be 2000 units each.

Early on in the game, you’re able to discover crashed ships, but it’s fairly pointless because you need as much money to repair the broken slots as you would to just buy a new ship.Ā  This mod makes it worthwhile to search for crashed ships right from the get-go.

Faster Ship and Tool Scanner Recharge

NOTE: This mod has been updated for v1.35!

Simple mod that lowers the scanner recharge time to 1 second for both the ship scanner, and the multitool scanner.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT EXOCRAFT!

I have now added an additional pak that also shortens the recharge time for the exocraft. Ā HOWEVER… The game file (MBIN) that contains the exocraft scanner recharge time also contains all of the performance/speed related parameters for the exocraft. Ā Therefore, installing that pak will conflict with any other mods that alter those parameters.

There is no current way to “make it compatible” with other exocraft mods, so please don’t ask. Ā 

The only other exocraft mods that it will work with the exocraft only pak file I’ve included are those thatĀ only alter the buildings you can scan for. e.g.Ā Exocraft Scanner Boost by nyok0

Only fighter ship

As the title suggest this mod aims to make the game spawn fighter ship.. I made two version, one that will ONLY spawn fighter class ship, and another that will spawn more of it but you’ll get to see some other type from time to time. This mod doesn’t change the number of ships spawned in a solar system, you’ll still have the same count but everyone will be a fighter, so it won’t impact FPS in any ways… I find it easier to find my favorite ship that way, witch in my case are fighter. If someone would like a version witch prioritize another class drop a comment.

Shiptrail-Remover by Elca (Atlas Rises Update)

Hello!

I saw a suggestion to remove the shiptrails and I thought that this would be a good test for myself since this is my first attemt on a mod and my therefore my first mod ever.

This mod removes the shiptrails and only shows the engine-glow.

Missiles Mod

v2 update is live, now with 100% more smoke trails…

The Missiles Mod completely replaces the photon cannon for a missile launcher.

It comes complete with all speed and damage upgrades to make your destruction capabilities even more intense.

 

Changes and fixes in the v2 update:

  • Fixed grenades not causing terrain deformation (this was a mod tool bug)
  • Fixed matching upgrades next to each other not showing highlighting.
  • Rebalanced base missile stats and upgrades according to posted suggestions.
  • Added a smoke trail to the missile engine.
  • Decreased maximum lifetime of a missile.

 

Now I just have to say don’t get discouraged about the low fire rate and fast heat bar when you have no upgrades, it’s meant to be that way.

Each upgrade of a certain type upgrades by a fair amount letting you “feel” the power and have more urge to get more upgrades.

Don’t worry, by the time you get most of the upgrades you be firing high damage missile volleys in quick succession.

As always leave a suggestion if you feel the missile stats need to be tweaked some more.

 

I would paste the stat changes of the missile launcher compared to the photon cannon here but it’s in notepad piece of crap description edit bot wont let me paste text.
