Fennec Custom Decal Template (Editable .PSD File)

Simply open up the .PSD file in Photoshop and edit it!

All of the individual car panels are separated into layers and converted into editable smart objects.

Just double click the smart objects to edit them and place whatever designs or colours you like into the document. Press CTRL + S to save before returning to the master document.

All layers are labelled and ordered for ease of use.

Prerequisites:

*Ensure BakkesMod is installed

Installation:

Copy the files in the "Car files" folder (the .json file and the three .png files) into the following directory:

C: Users YOUR-USER-NAME-HERE AppData Roaming bakkesmod bakkesmod data acplugin DecalTextures

*Make sure you replace "YOUR-USER-NAME-HERE" with your Windows username

Please note:

If you edit the template using Photoshop to create your own decal design, save the file as a .png and overwrite the Fennec_Diffuse.png file.

Press F2 while in-game, using the BakkesMod menu navigate to the Plug-ins tab, select AlphaConsole from the list of available plug-ins and select "Fennec123" from the preset drop-down list. The decal should now be visible in-game.

Error Fixing:

If you encounter any errors (for example, if the preset shows in the list on AlphaConsole but doesn't load in), it is likely there's a discrepancy involving the .json file.

Download Microsoft Visual Studio Code (you can find it on the Microsoft Store) to your PC and open the .json file using the program.

Make sure all of the .png files referenced in the .json file correspond with the filenames inside the DecalTextures folder. There should be three of them in total. The .png file that corresponds with "Diffuse": beneath "Body": {  is the file that contains the image data for the car decal. Ensure that this file is referenced properly in the .json file.
