Potato Mod

I’ve been playing Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and, in an effort to improve performance, I lowered the graphics settings as much as possible, even delving into the GameUserSettings.ini file to manually adjust the configurations. However, I encountered an issue when entering multiplayer mode. It seems that the graphical settings I applied do not carry over to the local multiplayer mode, and the graphics are automatically set to the highest quality, as if there is a separate configuration for multiplayer.

This is quite frustrating as it affects the game’s performance on my system. Considering this situation, it would be fantastic if someone could create a “potato mod” for Sparking Zero. A mod that effectively reduces the graphics in all game modes, including local multiplayer, would be incredibly helpful for those of us who need to optimize the game’s performance on less powerful hardware.

I would greatly appreciate any efforts to develop this mod. I’m sure many players would find it beneficial

This is a good idea, I'm sure would be useful for handhelds too!

"as if there is a separate configuration for multiplayer."
Because there IS a seperate config. It's in the menu. Graphics>Battle screen type>P1vsP2

@darkcranio Thanks, bro. I hadn’t noticed that, but I still have a problem. When I play in 1vs1 mode, meaning split-screen, even with the graphics set to the lowest, there’s still a lot of delay. I tried lowering the scaling resolution, but it won’t let me reduce it below 50%.

@sarogex
Delay as in what? Is the whole game slow?

You can change engine.ini

[/script/engine.engine]
FixedFrameRate=30

[SystemSettings]
bUseFixedFrameRate=True
bSmoothFrameRate=False
FixedFrameRate=30
FrameRateLimit=30

Lock game frame in 30fps, delay will be reduced
