Anime-D ReShade Presets

Anime-D Reshade Preset

This is a Reshade Preset that I have been working on to go along with D-Shading my Texture Recoloring mod. With this Mod I have tried to get as close to a anime feel & look as possible. This was originally intended to be for ANGEALVAN's Ultimate Color Reshade Roster mod but I moved to build a Texture Recoloring mod from the ground up to go along with this Reshade Preset to get the best possible visuals.

You can still use ANGEALVAN's mod as the Reshade is still in the state I intended for ANGEALVAN's Ultimate Color Reshade Roster . You can also use anyone of the other excellent Texture Recoloring mods out there like H-Graphics , Fighter Z – Reshading Pack + Resources , Cel-Shade Overhaul , Etc or even the game's default coloring as it looks Great with this Preset.

Effects Used

MXAO (Ambient Occlusion) - To improve object and character shading from light sources.

Ambient Lighting - To produce a more uniform illumination on the environment ingame.

Deband - To remove some of the color banding on things such as the sky, characters and buildings.

Clarity - To lift colors and texture detail out of the blurly dark environment on the game.

FilmicAnamorphSharpen - For improved texture detail and sharpest.

FilmGrain - To give a grainy look similar to the filmgrain effect seen in Dragon Ball Super.

LUT - Is used to make all changes to color and tone, it saves around 10 FPS compared to using individual shaders to achieve the same effect.

DPX - For more cinematic and colorful lighting.

Comic - To enhance the line work on characters and the environment.

SMAA - To help mitigate Aliasing or Jaggies.

You may lose up to 15-30 FPS with the full version and FPS will vary with the other Two versions. You can play around with Disabling some of the shaders or changing quality settings of MXAO to Low or Very Low to gain some more FPS. I Recommenced Disabling Deband, Comic , MXAO, FilmGrain, FilmicAnamorphSharpen, SMAA in this order to keep the Reshade looking the way I intended if your looking to save some fps.

* Also Try Alt-Tabing out and back in to game as my FPS is low sometimes when I start my game and this fixes it, could just be my game through worth a try if you have low FPS.

Note: I will be adding more Effects and Features overtime like Depth of field , some different color options and more. So Keep a Look out for those updates if your interested.

You will See character silhouettes and outlines some times in loading screens because of MXAO and Comic.

Recommended Mods To Install

D-Shading

Note * D-Shading is not fully completed yet, so as of right now you should install Ultimate Reshade or your favorite roster recoloring. Then if you like you can install D-Shading over whatever mod you picked to get the characters I have recolored ingame.

If Your installing Ultimate Color Reshade Roster you should also install Kami's Mods too, to get the complete look. Install in this order.

Then if you want Everything Colorable (Ultimate Reshade) Install this mod by kami too. Follow the install directions

Check Kami's Mod Page to get Shadings for other mods too.

Now if you want you can install D-Shading if you like.

I also Recommend installing Tryzick's FighterZ Reshade for CaC if you do install D-Shading or FighterZ shading, as it looks really good with this Reshade and melds better with D-Shading. You can see the Saiyan armour my CAC is Wearing in the images is colored from his mod.

As well as KaseKase's FighterZ mod to complete the look.

Before you even install this mod make sure your display settings for your graphics card are set up correctly for the best color reproduction and to calibrate your monitors if you can. This is so you get the visual experience I intended.

For Nvidia Users

Open Nvidia Control Panel go to Change Resolution Under Display and set Output Dynamic Range to Full then apply. Then go to Adjust Desktop Color Settings also under Display and set Use Nvidia Settings then apply. Done.

For AMD Users

I don't own a AMD GPU but from what I have read you either have to set Pixel Format to Full RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4. If any AMD user out there knows the equivalent settings to the Nvidia ones, please let me know.

Simply drop the contents of the Version you want from the .RAR file into your DB Xenoverse 2 Bin folder, open the ReShade.ini that is now in your bin folder and put your DB Xenoverse 2 Bin folder location in both places it says "Your DB Xenoverse 2 Folder Location".

For example Here is how mine looks

* you may need to make a Screenshots Folder in your bin Folder for Screenshots to work through Reshade. Also press P to take Screenshots.

Then proceed to start your game, once the game starts press Home. The Reshade menu should open, there will be a drop down bar at the top. Click the arrow next to the plus & minus buttons, select Anime.ini from the menu then just press Home again to exit the menu. Now when you get to the main menu or are in Conton city open the brightness menu press x to set your brightness to default then move the slider 2 notches down to the middle. Also go to Graphics settings and turn Glare Level to none, exit and your Done. Enjoy.

*Press Home to open the Reshade Menu and SCROLL LOCK to Disable/Enable the Preset, it's Enable by default

To Unistall this mod just run the UninstallReShade.bat find in your Bin Folder

1.0.1

Big Mistake Made Please reDownload and Install DBXV2 Anime-D.ini to your Bin Folder for the version you want. I forgot to Enable LUT, I'm Sorry.
