You have good ideas and color schemes but you have GOT to work on how you edit these textures because you’re doing it too heavy handedly and distorting your textures in game through that process. I can tell by almost a glance you’re using something like a coloring tool or bucket tool to do it but what i’d suggest is using hue/chroma or hue/saturation tools with the export compression DXT5. It’ll do worlds for your textures and by extension the outcome of your skills.

yeah honestly I’ve been wondering why do my textures come out all blurry and distorted sometimes. I’m using paint.net btw if thats good or do u have any recommendation of other better apps cuz thatd be really great. Im kinda a beginner at this modding stuff so Im open to any suggestions. Thanks!

Paint.net is good, I use gimp and iirc they have similar functions so just explore your tools and editing options! I don’t mean to sound harsh or like im putting you down. Honestly just take your time and try to stick to vanilla textures, change the color without distorting the overall texture.
