Why doesn’t the ground get damaged?

They just didn’t apply the decal. Might be because the timing looked bad or such
When you see damage on builds/the ground it’s just a dynamically placed decal. The game doesn’t have actual terrain damage to that degree. Only certain fixed objects have true destructability. Otherwise it’s just a decal.
