Well, looks like I’ve figured it out. Thank you both. The misc-tutorials guide was a great suggestion, as was using SSCreat’s copy from game.

Just to tell you, SSE is outdated. Use the sscreat.exe in the XV2INS the FOLDER. And learn. If you’re in the Citadel, it makes this process easier, as, in the misc-tutorials section, there’s a guide on how to use said application.

Since it’s new I’m not sure how accurate it is but the tool by Eternity also has a very fast “copy from game” feature so another option would be to make the soul in the editor (imo much easier to work with especially since its update a few days ago) and then copy the values in Eternity’s tool to turn it into an X2M.

SSE was updated recently, and I think it also has the copy from game feature. Either way, I started with Eternity’s soul creator. The soul either wouldn’t show in game or had no effect. I did a bit of searching through the citadel, but never could get it. When I saw that SSE had updated, I made it using that program instead and pretty much got it first try. I understand that people like their X2Ms and Eternity is the goat though, so I’ll give it another shot and maybe moving forward, it’ll be my method of choice. Hope the .ssp is cool for now though.
