New Stages Mod Pack (The Last 10 Lobby Maps Made Playable!)

What you get here is 10 playable stages pulled straight from the game's lobby maps. If you combine this mod with Eternity's map pack, you'll have every map in the game as a newly playable stage! šŸ™‚ You can find Eternity's mod pack in the link below. This pack contains the following stages for battle:

  1. Time Nest
  2. Time Vault
  3. Guru's House (Time Rift)
  4. Guru's House (Interior)
  5. Kame House
  6. Buu's House
  7. Buu's House (Interior)
  8. Hercule's House (Time Rift)
  9. Capsule Corp (Time Rift)
  10. Classroom (Orange Star High School)

As well as the following FIXES to add invisible walls/ceiling/floor to Eternity's stages:

  1. Toki Toki City - Timemachine Port
  2. Conton City
  3. Conton City (Frieza's siege)

I've tweaked the stages so that up to 6 players will safely spawn within the intended map or structures and can freely move around without getting stuck in walls. Each stage's default battle music is a track that cannot be found in the game's battle music selector. Most of the stages have their proper theme music from the game, but a few of them needed something different for various reasons (would've been the same music for 2 stages, or the theme music couldn't be found in the stage creator).

To install the Eternity stage fixes, MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL ETERNITY'S STAGES MOD FIRST, OR IT WILL NOT WORK!!!

AS OF NOW, ALL INVISIBLE WALLS NEEDED FOR THE MAPS HAVE BEEN ADDED! MEANING ALL 10 STAGES ARE NOW 100% PLAYABLE!

TO GET STAGE DAMAGE VISUAL EFFECTS FOR ETERNITY'S STAGES, FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1. Open Eternity's stage in xv2stacreate.exe

2. Click on the Vfx tab.

3. Depending on the stage of your choice, set the BG EEPK text box to the following:

If installing...

  • CONTON CITY
  • CONTON CITY (FRIEZA'S SIEGE)
  • FRIEZA'S SPACESHIP
  • FRIEZA'S SPACESHIP (DAMAGED)
  • FRIEZA'S SPACESHIP (SPACE BACKGROUND)
  • FRIEZA'S SPACESHIP (TIME RIFT)
  • TOKI TOKI CITY - TIME MACHINE PORT

type in: BG/SEI/BG_SEI.eepk

If installing...

  • TOKI TOKI CITY - PLAZA OF TIME

type in: BG/CEL/BG_CEL.eepk

If installing...

  • TOKI TOKI CITY RUINS

type in: BG/NMB/BG_NMB.eepk

4. Save the file in xv2stacreate.exe

5. Install the stage file

6. Install the ETERNITY Conton City & Internal Stages FIX.x2m from this mod

If all of that was done correctly, then you'll get stage damage effects in Eternity's stages when you load up the game.

This update is an overhaul. The following changes include:

Buu's House (Exterior):

  • Added invisible ceiling and increased the height of the invisible walls.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Removed the small hitbox of the "return to Conton City" transport point.

Buu's House (Interior):

  • Added invisible walls, ceiling, and floor. The floor matches the level of the ground that can be seen whenĀ you go outside of Buu's house.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.

Capsule Corporation (Time Rift):

  • Added invisible ceiling and slightly increased the height of the invisible walls.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Removed the small hitbox of the "return to Conton City" transport point.

Classroom (Orange Star High School):

  • Added invisible walls, ceiling, and floor. The invisible floor is level with the floor of the classroom toĀ make it easier to get back into the classroom.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Removed the back wall hitbox that separated the classroom seats from the front of the room.

Guru's House (Exterior):

  • Added invisible ceiling and increased the height of the invisible walls.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Removed the small hitbox of the "return to Conton City" transport point.

Guru's House (Interior):

  • Added invisible walls, ceiling, and floor. The invisible floor is level with the floor of Guru's House to makeĀ it easier to get back into the house.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Removed the tall hitbox for the hole in the floor and added invisible wall texture effects to the hole itself.

Hercule's House:

  • Replaced the invisible walls with a separate invisible box to create invisible walls and ceiling
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Removed the small hitbox of the "return to Conton City" transport point.
  • Removed the tall hitbox for the pool.

Kame House:

  • Added invisible walls, ceiling, and floor. The floor is a decent distance below sea level.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Slightly increased the size of the island's hitbox.
  • Adjusted Kame House hitbox so that you can enter inside of it through openings such as windows and doors.
  • Added a splash sound effect and ripple effect for when characters enter the ocean.
  • Characters will now use the swimming animation when they are in the ocean and not locked onto anyone.

Time Nest:

  • Added invisible ceiling and increased the height of the invisible walls.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.

Time Vault:

  • Added invisible ceiling and walls to match the coordinates of the existing walls of the room.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.
  • Added a hitbox for the table in the middle of the room.

Toki Toki City - Timemachine Port (FIX):

  • Added invisible ceiling and floor, and increased the height of the invisible walls. The invisible floor is closeĀ to level with the solid ground floor.
  • Added invisible walls beyond the other invisible walls, which can be accessed by going through the area thatĀ leads to Hercule's statue.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.

Conton City (FIX):

  • Added invisible walls surrounding the area that is accessible without getting stuck in mid-air, and swapped outĀ the invisible ceiling for a slightly higher one.
  • Added invisible wall texture effects for when you get close to them.

Conton City (Frieza's siege) (FIX):

  • Same as Conton City, but I also changed the spawn locations for players so that they would spawn within the new invisible walls.

About Conton City/Frieza's siege:

The changes to the 2 Conton City maps were made for fighting against players and the computer so that no oneĀ would get trapped in inaccessible areas. If you are using the map for roleplay purposes, then it is still betterĀ to use the original Conton City map because you have slightly more access to certain areas than you do here.

Noteworthy INACCESSIBLE areas of the Conton City map fix include:

  • Time Machine Station area where you choose vs. mode and quests
  • The Time Nest entrance
  • Half of the World Tournament area
  • The Orange Star High School
  • The Resort District
  • Half of the waterfall area over the edge of the Namek replica (where the Bardock instructor spawns)
  • The Mushroom Desert.

Noteworthy ACCESSIBLE areas of the Conton City map fix include:

  • Dragon Ball Pedestal
  • Namek replica
  • All of the central hub area
  • The Hero Colosseum platform
  • The Business District
  • The Bamboo Forest.

  • Fixed the flickering texture issue on the Guru's House (Interior) windows.
  • Updated stage portraits to show VFX when applicable.
  • Slightly adjusted hitboxes to be smaller in certain areas to allow damage VFX to show on the surrounding meshes.
  • Added damage effects to Eternity stage pack as map file replacers.

KNOWN BUGS:

  • Conton City and Conton City (Frieza's siege) have a bug where all stage destruction renders visibly through all other stage models. It's currently unknown why Conton City renders its models this way, but we suspect it has to do with the draw distance of the enormous lobby.
