Offline Crystal Raid Battles Modpack
Yo! For my first mod on this site, I'm gonna be adding Crystal Raids that are playable offline!
Contains both Crystal Raids and Double Crystal Raids in offline mode, recreated from the online version. Become an OP boss and decimate enemies, even with an OP ally. The rewards, win conditions, health etc. have been copied from the online version.
You can play as any character, choose any ally and choose any opponent, but for the best playing experience, it is recommended to watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmZWpadOntg
This pack does NOT require any DLCs, only a free update to DLC 11. HOWEVER, if you do not own all the DLCs, some DLC bosses may not appear even if you have added them through my video.
There are some notable differences from the online version:
1. You (the boss) and your ally have lowered defense and attack power for balancing issues. You're both nerfed in Double Crystal Raids too.
2. The descriptions are different.
Bugs:
1. The quests don't end even after you defeat all enemies on-stage. Without getting too complex, the quest recognizes you as the enemy, not the player. It will only end when the timer hits zero, and even then it counts as a loss.
2. As the quests don't end, choosing Zamasu can be annoying as his Super Soul revives him after he gets KO'ed.
3. Great Apes and Cell Max won't work as the enemy AI is for normal sized characters.
4. Boss skills (Peeler Storm, Marbling Drop etc.) are greyed out from all game modes, including this, except training. These skills only work in the online version.
5. Unlike the online version, the quests don't randomize stages, as the stage randomizer doesn't work offline.
6. CaCs play a glitched animation at the beginning. It doesn't affect gamplay, but is an eyesore.
Extract using Winrar and install the X2M with XV2 Mods Installer.
You need to finish at least 10 Expert Missions to get that giant orb in the lobby. Scroll down to the bottom to find these quests.
* This doesn't include any tutorials on how to choose 6 characters in the CSS.

i know this is months old but would it have any compatability issues with Revamp, especially its newest version? or does it literally just touch the mode and nothing else?

I like it but I don’t like that it uses the new AI. My stamina’s getting broken all the time, they’re spamming supers and sometimes ultimates and I’m too slow to do anything about it (I’m using the raid bosses). I also don’t want them to pick up their allies cause then it just goes on forever. It’s not 1 person picking them up it’s like 3 of them. So the fight literally won’t end. Could you make an easier version without the new AI cause I’m not good in crystal raid and don’t want a challenge. I’m a boss, it shouldn’t be this easy for them

OK so lol I can assure you that this is DEFINITELY not the new AI because it was made before that free update. This is the regular AI that your teammates use in Expert Missions. Which is an annoying one for sure because they’re designed to immediately revive downed teammates and absolutely blast the Raid Boss when the full team is up. My advice to you is to focus on one enemy at a time, get them to low health, rinse and repeat for other enemies. Then once they’re all low health, defeat them all with an AOE attack.

Wonder if it’s possible to make the raids offline. Been wanting to do those with my op character.

In short, yeah they are. I’m planning on making them online too with boosted stats, but that’ll take some time.
