I have a question tho, I’ve read up on the X2M stuff, it requires 1.16 version.
I am waiting for winter sales so I can hopefully grab the game together with some DLCs and it will be version 1.17 which is not supported by X2M yet.
So the question is – If I will just replace the files it should work just fine, right?
The current patcher version, 3.62, is only compatible with version 1.16 of Xenoverse 2. It will not work for 1.17 at all. You’ll have to wait until the patcher is updated. No idea when that will be though.
You also have the option of downgrading your game to version 1.16… but if you don’t have previous save data, I’m not sure how it will work. It might still be fine, just not sure. Once you get the game, you can try using this tutorial and see if it works for you: https://www.revampxv2.com/main-project/how-to-downgrade-xenoverse-2.
A 1.17 save won’t work for 1.16. I know because I fucked up and didn’t back up my 1.16 save before the 1.17 update. Now my modded 1.16 Xenoverse doesn’t recognize the save file. When I boot up the game, it just asks to create save data.
