Sonic Battle Sounds

Hi there, as the title would suggest, this is a Sonic sound effects mod.

This mod will replace common battle sounds with classics from Genesis era Sonic games.

This is the regular and normal version of the mod, there is however, an "Extreme" version for hardcore fans, which was made before this version.

This version, has been modified and optimized to have lower sound volumes, and to blend better into your game-play with a more natural feel to it.

You'll hear various classics, such as, but not limited to:

Bumper: These make up the majority of your small' medium' and large hits.

Badnik Death & Death: These will cue when you Stamina break your opponent.

Ring loss: You'll hear this when you lose your stamina, or, if you take a type of status/debuff damage like poison for example.

Ring collection: You'll hear the iconic sound itself, when you Snap Vanish during combos, and while walking/running on the ground. (This includes outside of battles as well, and yes you'll hear it in Conton City too)

Sonic's jump: This should be an obvious one. (You'll also hear this one outside battle in Conton City)

Sonic's Spin dash: You'll hear this when you Step vanish.

Blue shield: This is the Guard sound.

Fireball: This will be your Ki-blast sound.

Death spike: You'll hear those pop off after landing certain types of Ki blasts.

There's other sound effects as well, and you might hear something "special" when you unlock travel gates to new areas in quests, after clearing out the enemies ;)

Due to how this mod works, the vast majority of battle will be radically altered, as these sound effects also impact not only the common sound effects, but also Supers' Ultimates' and character combo strings.

Notes: Due to the modified sound volumes, it may be hard to hear the effects with your music volume maxed out, this was an intentional design choice, to give you the freedom to adjust your music accordingly, without the effects overbearing the user. The louder the music, the less you hear them, the quieter the music, the more you hear them. Even with the music completely muted, the sound has been optimized for all situations.

THIS WILL OVERWRITE ANY PRE-EXISTING MODS THAT DO THE SAME, SO, YOU'LL NEED TO REINSTALL THOSE IF YOU REMOVE SBS!
