The Dragon Tower

Inspired by Minecraft Dungeons Tower Mode, I made a Parallel Quest that resets your level, leveling up incrementally as you go up the floors. So it is entirely possible to do this with cast characters and normal stats. There are two extra difficulty variants that are harder in certain ways, but not impossible to go through. If there is any problems that pop up, please let me know. Hope you enjoy.

  1. Will you make “adventure” & “apocalypse” version as a standalone mod instead of dependant to the original version?

    There is a limited amount of parallel slot quota that xenoverse engine can handle. The dlc & base game took most of the slot. If the amount of quota is exceeded, then the game got corrupted & and all progress + unlocked character is gone.

    I want to play the apocalypse version, but I don’t want to install the other two mod for that.

Hi, I downloaded this the other day and when I installed it to play with my friend(both installed every mod in the same order), the PQ broke where he couldn’t revive me and I was “alive” on his screen but dead on mine. We went to uninstall it to fix it and we were forced to reinstall the entire game and mods.

    Also, the PQs overwrote the entire base game/DLC quests which later crashed the game once the modded PQ was removed.

    Anyone know how to help?

    1. Definitely strange, don’t know how it overwrote your data and or dlc quests, as the quests are singular additions to the game that doesn’t replace any existing quests in the game. To your point about the reviving, ideally a quest should be working well if you guys have not just all mods in order, but files to the game as well, I think the issues might be more of a symptom for something else much rather than the quest in isolation, since it wouldn’t be possible for a x2m quest that functions as a additional quest to the game to overwrite data. Otherwise, I’ll try to see if I can remedy it.

    1. Fully reset the xv2ins then install them in the right order, as I recall you had this problem previously as well in the DMs, which can have something to do with the previous mod data for the quest not totally being deleted.

    1. Apologies for the late response, as far as I know from the quest commands, there likely isn’t a way for meta-progression (Like in Roguelites like Hades, Rogue Legacy, Dead Cells,etc), but based on the expert mission “A History of Mixed Battles” . I think it is possible through flags that I can make a PQ that acts as a older roguelike in that it is one and done.

  3. Uh I played this with my friend when leaving the hell stage, I thought he left too so I went to space. He got locked in Hell and I had to do the entire Space portion alone hoping it would let him come through, only to have my only way forward be Planet Tuffle and no way back. So I go to the final level, get to round three of the FINAL BOSS FLOOR, one enemy left, and got downed. With my teammate locked in hell, I couldn’t do anything, so we were softlocked. Cool level, terrible conclusion and softlock.

    1. Ah ok, Apologies for the trouble. that’s probably due to the flag for the portals opening being for Player 1 to be in the stage, this is mainly to ensure that single-player runs would be able to work. I’ll investigate the issue and update from here. Thank you for the feedback.

    1. That’s probably due to not installing apocalypse after installing Adventure Mode, X2M installer will give you the error: “Cannot Resolve Quest “TMQ_ROA_000” “”, since I made it so that apocalypse would come after beating adventure mode.

    1. so i tested it and it’s rlly good but there is some little thing to improve exemple the character following rush to you and literally spin to you while sprinting also sometimes characters got some random super soul like trunks getting the super soul (You will explode with the Earth!) and it was contantly showing also the dialogues when the ennemies goes down a certain % they just give you the silent treatment

      1. The AI following you like that is the result of the AI Entry I enabled for the allies, which are much more advanced than the ones normally used for the vanilla quests, the super souls randomly appear unfortunately due to the limitations of the engine (Especially with the comparatively insane length of the PQ), but the super souls as far as function with characters still work as intended. When it comes to the matter of character dialogue, I intend the quest to be designed to be massively replayable, which will especially going to be put into emphasis with my upcoming expansion, so dialogue isn’t much of a focus on my side of things.
