Ultimate Ki Blast Pack

Regular Ki Blasts are quite boring. Just a generic yellow projectile, mostly used to let you cancel out of moves faster. It shouldn't be this way, we're playing as people who can casually throw planet destroying blasts, there should be some more flare to it! Since Eternity added support for installing custom Ki Blasts, I've been waiting for community to pick up the mantle to make that button more interesting, my contribution was supposed to be a simple custom ki blast to use as a template. Initially, the gun mod was supposed to serve that purpose, but I've realized I made a blunder in that regard - it doesn't actually use a projectile, meaning it would be rather inconvenient for that purpose, so I decided to make another one. Unfortunately, in the process of experimentation, I came up with too many ideas, what was meant to be a single example has evolved into elemental pack, which then evolved into the Ultimate pack, as I just threw everything into the mix.

Modders Resource Note:

You're free to modify or include these ki blasts as is in your character mods, as long as you credit me. If you want to keep your uploads smaller, or want to give me more numbers, you can also link instead of embedding, and direct people to install the ki blasts from here first.

Note:

Most of the new ki blasts are not deflectable. This is because, in spite of what The Cutting Room Floor might tell you, deflection is not a simple plug and play mechanic. To be more specific, random deflecting by flying around works fine, but deflecting by guarding (the version that sends the projectile back at your opponent) instead produces generic ki blasts, which I haven't found a way around.

Ki Blasts included:

*Air Ki Blast*

Fire gusts of air from your palms! Charged blast explodes the air around opponent instantly!

*Android Eye Beam*

Fire beams from your eyes while moving! Charged ki blast can hit from a greater distance.

*Purple Eye Beam*

Purple variant of the eye beam. Charged blast will create an explosion at your opponent's location!

*Bala + Cero*

Fire these Arrancar styled blasts by punching, or charge and fire a Cero from your mouth!

*Baseball*

Throw baseballs at your opponents! They don't fly far, but a fully charged blast (2 seconds) can break an opponent's guard!

*Blaster Shell*

Broly style green ki blast.

*Dark Ki Blast*

Call upon the powers of darkness! This heavy ki blast deals more damage than usual, and always knocks opponents back, but it cannot be rapid fired. Charged Ki Blast will trap opponents in a black hole that will detransform them!

*Destructo Disc*

Throw Krillin's iconic technique while moving! Charged ki blast will throw a whole barrage!

*Death Slicer*

Throw Freeza's knock off pizzas while moving! Charge it up to throw Double Death Slicer, which you can continuously redirect!

*Energy Blade*

Send blades of energy at your opponents! Charged version cannot be blocked!

*Energy Card*

Throw sharp cards made of energy! Charged ki blast will send a whole barrage out of a shield. The shield will protect you from enemy ki blasts too!

*Card Throw (Luxord)*

Throw sharp cards, inspired by Organization XIII. Charged blast will briefly trap your opponent inside a card!

*Fireball*

You can't go wrong with classics! Charged shot is slow to throw, but you can follow it up more easily!

*Flame stream*

Send giant waves of fire out of your palms as casually as you'd throw a rock! This power is balanced out by a lack of a charged version.

*Galick Gun*

Use Vegeta's famous planet destroying technique just like your juniors over in Breakers!

*Gun*

Deliver hitscan justice with this refreshed .45 pistol! Improved chamber will now actually eject bullet casings, and the gun has been made slightly lighter (on the filesize).

*Heavenly Arrow*

A different flavor of darkness that can be rapid fired.

*Ice Blast*

Chilling beam that will freeze your opponents! Charged shot will throw a bigger chunk of ice.

*Interdiction*

Fire delayed blasts inspired by Xemnas! Charged shot will surround your opponent!

*Jump*

Ditch the blasts for the ability to jump any time in the air! Charge it to do a Super Back Jump!

*Kairos Cannon*

Supreme Kai of Time's technique, charged shots will surround you and fire one at a time on their own, or all at once if you use the input again. Charge it for longer to set down more blasts.

*Kamehameha*

Use the iconic Turtle School technique as easily as throwing a punch! You can move briefly before firing.

*Lava Blast*

Fire scorching hot lava that will explode on impact! Charged blast will summon a flaming pillar from the ground, but will not work on sky stages!

*Lightning Ball (Yellow)*

A slightly more electrifying variant of your typical yellow blasts! Charged version is a simple rush.

*Lightning Ball (Green)*

Green variant of the above, charged shot will fly back to you like Side Bridge. If you charge it for longer, you'll throw three blasts at once!

*Lightning Ball (Purple)*

A more natural color, charged shot will linger in front to protect you, like Genocide Shell. If you charge it for longer, you'll throw out more blasts at once!

*Lightning Bolt*

Fire bolts of lightning from your hands just like the other space emperor! Charged version will instead summon lightning from the sky.

*Poison blast*

Throw pure poison at your opponents! Charged shot will paralyze them too!

*Rakshasha's Claw*

Fire energy waves from your sword while moving! Charged shot is unblockable.

*Rock Ki Blast (Barrage)*

Fire rocks at your opponent like an earth mage! Charged shot will create several boulders around you, which you can send at your opponent whenever you want with additional input.

*Rock Ki Blast (Earthquake)*

Charged shot will pull a massive boulder from below your opponent, but be careful, this technique won't work on stages without ground!

*Rock Ki Blast (Meteor)*

Charged shot will summon a massive meteor from the sky! It's strong, but slow to use.

*Shuriken Throw*

Throw shurikens rapidly like a ninja! Charged variant will send out 4 waves, but you can cancel between them with a step or guard.

*Special Beam Cannon*

Use Piccolo's deadliest technique on the go! Just like the regular version, it's unblockable!

*Spirit Blaster*

Fire blue blasts inspired by Gogeta! Charge it for a barrage.

*Super Vanish*

What do you get when you combine hiding your energy and faster than light speed? A movement technique that is impossible to follow! Regular version lets you move around freely, while charged one will instantly move behind your opponent. Ba creful though, this blistering speed will cost you stamina!

*Time Blast*

Fire blasts of pure light! Charged shot costs 2 Ki bars, but will freeze your opponent in time! It's been fixed from the original release and will now actually hit knocked back people.

*Tri Beam*

Use Tenshinhan's most iconic technique while moving. It's slow to fire, but packs just as much of a punch!

*Water Blast*

Fire bubbles of water at your opponents. Charged ki blast will shoot them around you, while letting you move. Press ki blast at the end again to surround yourself with a protective bubble and fire an even stronger barrage!

*Wind Blast*

Fire gusts of wind at your opponents. Charged ki blast will fire a slower, but bigger tornado that will pursue your opponent!

To use on CaC:

• Install the desired Ki Blast from the first folder
• Install the respective Super Soul from the second folder
• Purchase the new Super Soul from the Item Shop, equip it, and voila, you've got a new Ki Blast!

To use on am X2M character:

• Open the desired character in xv2characreat.exe
• Go to the CUS tab, and look at the bottom of the section for Custom skills linking/embedding
• Press "Add" to the right of that, and navigate to the desired Ki Blast, to then Link or Embed it
• Once you've done that, change the Blast for each desired character preset, the blast you've added should be at the bottom, with prefix [X2M]
• If you've linked the Ki Blast, make sure to install it separately BEFORE the character. If you've embedded it, it will be installed automatically alongside the character.
