Xenoverse 2: Hard Mode

This mod aims to increased the general difficulty of the game missions
Changes:
- All enemies have at minimum 20% Damage reduction
- All enemies have had their Level increased by some degree and their stats along with it
- Most missions have had their time limit increased from 15 Minutes to 30 Minutes
- All missions with "Clear in X Amount of minutes" as a requirement, have had that requirement increased to 20 Minutes
- All missions with allies have had the allies buffed up to reduce the damage they take, to account for tougher enemies
The Mod currently only covers standard Parallel Quests, up to "Hyper Special Training" (174)
Time Rift Quests, Fu Quests and Campaign Story Missions are planned
Planned is also an update to the AI to have the enemies be smarter/better
If you encounter any Bugs/Soft Locks, feel free comment under the post and i'll take a look.
However, note that the Mod has been developed for version 1.22 of XV2, and may not work/be extremely bugged in older or newer versions.
Just drop the Data folder into your Xenoverse 2 Directory
This is a great mod and I want to see it succeed. That being said, I’ve read what you have to say about harder ai. One thing I can suggest besides harder ai (festival ai even), is to up the levels to more so match the max player level by this point being 160. The damage that they take while reduced I feel like is still a bit too abusable which could change if they are at 160, would need to test that myself. I just got done doing the hard mode for pq 122 and while it did take longer, felt too easy but I have well over 6,000 hours and I min max. I was using do or die with elder kai’s soul to keep me topped off at all times, so take what I say as you will. If anything I’d say start at the harder ai and higher levels. Very great start though otherwise. I know that this mod is pretty recent and that there is plenty of room to grow.

I’ll see if there’s a need to further increase difficulty to kill enemies after i’m done working on the AI stuff and the other Quests, as the AI being better will make killing them significantly harder, i was waiting for patcher to Update to 1.23
Also, enemies are up to lvl 190, depending on the mission of course

Unlikely, but i will be adding the same advanced AI as Levi’s Mod some time in the future, it’s just a VERY lengthy process, so it’s going to take some time

However i don’t think my mod compares to Proud Mode much.
Proud Mode was a work of art, with insane changes and custom settings for a ton of stuff, in comparison my mod is mostly numbers changes.
And it still took a ton of time to make, due to the sheer amount of Parallel Quests, proud mode must have taken AGES. Especially since it modifies ALL quests.
That guy was out of his mind, insane respect

Haven’t directly tested it, as i don’t use revamp, but as long as Revamp doesn’t mess with Vanilla Quests, it should be okay
However, i suspect Revamp’s new quests required that Mod team to modify the file containing the Time Limit for each quest and various other things, to add data for the new quests, as i had to for the vanilla ones, so that might cause issues, if anything, it will make my modifications of having quests last 30 Minutes, non functional, as it will override that file, if you install Revamp after my mod
I suggest you do that, and not the other way around, as my file overriding theirs is much more likely to cause serious issues, compared to just a Timer change, as my file doesn’t contain the data for their parallel quests
I’d have to get in contact with them, to establish compatibility

Exactly the kind of thing the *main story* needs because it’s impossible to actually do any content in the game without grossly overleveling the Main/DLC quests. Looking forward to it.

Unless the mod you’re talking about actively modifies Parallel Quests, it should work
My mod doesn’t modify the Characters for the General game, just their stats for the quest they’re in, and is limited to that quest specifically

Well, there are some PQ’s that are modified to be more difficult. Guess I’ll try if it’s compatible, I assume this compatibles with Revamp?

I’ve answered this above, but the TLDR is:
Maybe, but if you really want to combine the two, install my Mod first and then Revamp, so their files overwrite Mine and the worst that can happen is that the 30 Min time limit is brought back down to the vanilla 15
The other way around might cause problems as my file doesn’t have their data for their custom parallel quests
