Costume patcher
Completely reworked from the ground up, this patcher will allow you to enable 4 additional costumes for every single character built directly into the game itself without any additional programs. Please follow the patching instructions in the video.
To activate the new costumes highlight a character and hold down R1/R2/L2/R2 or LB/RB/LT/RT then select the character. This will work both on the character select screen and the lobby when selecting and editing a team.
This does NOT work for cracked version of the game, only the steam version.

As a mod creator, how does one make it so the costumes are in these additional slots?

NVM, I found out, but it’s weird. When I don’t have the example pack installed, it works, but when I install it, the skins aren’t showing. Idk why.

NVM again lol. I forgot the placeholder costumes are just PLACEHOLDERS. I’ll go make some mods for this now.

Make sure you put Additional costumes start pack inside X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DRAGON BALL FighterZ\RED\Content\Paks\~mods

If I’m not mistaken, I think it’s because the game was recently updated, and the Patcher doesn’t support the new update, I could be wrong though.

I followed everything but the costumes doesn’t show. I have downloaded the End of Z Goku Ultra Instinct made for this specific mod. I tried everything, I tried pressing RT + A but nothing and I don’t know what it is exactly.

You need to install the costumes separately, there are a few available on the website. Once installed this mod allows you to select them.

Finally update but doesn’t work.
By applying the xdeltaUI patch, the game crashes and by applying another patch to make the mods work, the game launch but the costumes make invisible characters appear.

Bon, finally I ended up getting the mod to work.
After applying the xdeltaUI patch then the patch.exe from DBFZ Mod Manager, I copied the costumes into the “Mods” folder and it worked. The most fun is that my mods already installed also work and can give a nice mix (ex: Costume02 – SuperSaiyanBardock with hair SSJ Rosé).
En tout cas, thank you for this update.

If you are getting the XD3_INVALID_INPUT error it means you are running a cracked version of the game. This mod only supports the steam version.

Excuse me? No buddy don’t lie to everyone. THIS IS HAPPENING TO ME AND IM NOT RUNNING A CRACKED VERSION OF THE GAME. IM RUNNING THE STEAM VERSION OF IT AND IM GETTING THE SAME ERROR.
Please get your facts straight before going “the EASY way” and say that “It doesn’t support cracked version of the game” because we already knew that.
