Lighting Dev area
This mod adds back a developement area that was left in the February and May 2019 update of Just Cause 4
There's not much to it, but I do love preserving things like this, so here we are!
This area was used to test JC4's new lighting system before the update was released and was seemingly forgotten and left in
This was discovered before, however it got removed later on
Watch the Youtube video above for details on it and how to find it!

To install mods, you got two options that you can choose from. They both have their advantages and disadvantages, so here you go:
- Masquerade64's "Simple mod loader"
Simpler alternative to mine, however does not support quickstart
- My "Unlimited Mod loader - final" method
This method has a slightly complicated setup, though if you follow the tutorial on it's page, you will have no problems setting it up. During setup, you can also choose if you want the game to perform a quickstart, which DLC to exclude plus you can even set up multiple mod folders, while still being able to start the game without any problems with no mods activated
After choosing your preferred mod loader, simply unpack the mod and put the two folders (locations and packages) into your dropzone!

That’s quite interesting! I’ve always been into such mods, and that’s actually the reason I decided to get into game development. I still think that working with companies like https://www.arrible.com/game-case-studies/ is the best solution if you want to develop a game without any bugs, and they helped me with my game a lot.

That’s an interesting mod for Just Cause 4! Preserving development areas like the one you mentioned is always fascinating. It’s great to see how elements like the lighting system were tested before being integrated into the game. The video you referenced must provide some cool insights into this forgotten part of JC4.
