This is a method to enable mods designed for the DLC folder by patching the game at runtime.

It has been tested by the modder on Mafia II version 1.04 (latest patch available through Steam) on the following languages:

• French
• German
• Italian
• Spanish
• Czech
• English
• Polish
• Russian

If you have a different language version, and this mod works for you, please let the modder know!

No support will be provided by the modder to users using illicit copies of Mafia II.

1. Copy "d3dx9_42.dll" from the download to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia II\pc".
   • Or in the "pc\" subdirectory of the game's directory if you have a custom Steam library folder.
