First Person Driving

Notes:

• This mod uses a Lua script and therefore requires the Lua Injector.

Description:

• The First Person Driving mod allows you to drive vehicles in first person, from Vito's perspective.

Installation:

• Scroll down to the "Installation" section to learn how to install this mod.

Additional info:

• Go to Controls in the options menu and change Mouse Look to inverted. For some reason the first person camera is inverted, so you will need to counter it by inverting the controls via the options menu.
• Do not execute the first person script until you are seated in a vehicle, and do not exit the vehicle until you have disabled the first person view.

Notes:

• This mod requires the Lua Injector.

Installation:

1. Drag the folder called "pc" found in the mod's .zip file to "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia II".
   • If you're running a non-Steam version, drag it to your "/Mafia II" folder, wherever it may be.
2. Windows will tell you that "This destination already contains a folder named 'pc'."
3. Click "Yes" when prompted to merge the new folder with the existing one.
4. Click "Yes" each time a new folder must be merged.
5. Click "Copy and Replace" repeatedly to replace the existing file(s) with the modded one(s).
   • Alternatively, you can stop before you replace the file/files and create a backup of it/them.

Using the script:

1. Launch Mafia II and get in-game.
2. Enter a vehicle.
3. Press "Alt+Tab" to minimize the game.
4. Navigate to your "pc" folder.
5. Run "mafiainjector.exe".
6. Return to the Mafia II window.
7. Resume the game.
8. Press the F7 key.

• You can change the name of this or any other Lua script to map it to a different function key.
