Frenchy’s Disabled Scanner

If you feel like a more fun, more challenging mode, use this mod!

This mod will turn off the ability to use your on planet scanner at all, making it a forced mode that encourages more exploration.

If you have any of the above mods installed, or think you may have mods that contain dependencies that may conflict with my pack, delete them.

Navigate to your game installation folder. Typically:

C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonNo Man's SkyGAMEDATAPCBANKS

DELETE other mods or mods that conflict.

PASTE in _MOD.Frenchys.XXXX.pak

Go to:

C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonNo Man's SkyGAMEDATASHADERCACHE

DELETE all files. These are generated on startup and are just cache files for the system.

Launch the game. It may be slow or take longer than usual. This is fine and normal. It it loading and replacing many files within the regular game cache.
