This simple mod stops the re-centering behaviour of the external exocraft camera when idling by increasing the timeout to 600 seconds (as opposed to the default 1.5 seconds)

Extract the contents of .zip file into your No Man's SkyGAMEDATAPCBANKSMODS folder.
As with other NMS mods you will also need to rename/delete the DISABLEMODS.txt file in your No Man's SkyGAMEDATAPCBANKS folder.
