Reduced Mission Hints and Assists [EXO MECH UPDATE]
OVERVIEW
This mod introduces several mission based QoL changes. It removes several annoying tutorial missions triggered by having certain items in your inventory (e.g. star charts, upgrade modules).
Furthermore, missions no longer force a default inventory window; your inventory should now remember the tab it was on regardless of the mission you have selected.
Do not install this mod before you have read all the tutorials.
This is my first mod for NMS; please leave any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports in the comments. Because a mod of this nature is somewhat tedious to test, I have not fully tested all of the missions I disabled; please let me know if I missed something.
INSTALLATION
TL;DR: Extract _notutorials.pak
to your MODS
directory.
As always, back up your save before installation! I'm not responsible for any lost items, corrupted saves, system crashes, or zombie apocalypses.
- Find your No Man's Sky mods directory:
- In Steam, right click No Man's Sky in your library, and click Manage->Browse Local Files.
- In the Explorer window that pops up, go to
GAMEDATA
->PCBANKS
.
- Delete
DISABLEMODS.TXT
if you haven't already. - Go to the
MODS
directory. If it doesn't exist, create it. - From the downloaded
.zip
file, extract_notutorials.pak
to theMODS
directory. - Launch your game; if you see a modded game warning, and can play your game, the installation has succeeded.
KNOWN BUGS
The inventory always opens to the starship tab when piloting a starship, regardless of the selected tab when last closed.
It doesn't work for some questlines; investigating.

I was playing Call of Duty online with a friend. We were winning every game we played and had won about 20 games in a row. A kid asked to join our party, so we let him play and… he was destroying us. He kept killing both of us and within two minutes he called me a noob! I couldn’t believe it! It ruined my experience because I thought that I had gotten lucky for 20 straight games, but then that kid came along to ruin it for me, hope this hints work for me I can forward it to Best Self Publishing Company in USA.

I think your first NMS mod is great! It is great that you are willing to listen to comments and fix bugs that people find. Even though testing all of the tasks can be time-consuming, asking for feedback shows that you want to make the mod better. If you need more help or advice, you could talk to Wikipedia writers for hire, who can offer their knowledge on a wide range of topics. Keep doing your best!

I’m in a bit of a pickle here. I need to write a personal statement for dental school admissions, and I’m completely lost. Can anyone help me with tips on how to get started? What are the key things I should include? Are there any common mistakes I should avoid? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Report
Hey there,
I’ve been through this process myself. To get started, think about why you want to pursue dentistry, your relevant experiences, and what makes you unique. Avoid clichés and make it personal. Have you considered talking about any dental-related volunteer work or internships you’ve done?
Report
Thanks for the quick response!
Great points, I’ll definitely incorporate my experiences. But how long should this statement be? And should I focus more on my academic achievements or my personal qualities? It’s a bit overwhelming.
Report
No problem!
Your statement should typically be 500-800 words. As for the content, strike a balance between academic and personal aspects. Highlight your academic achievements but also emphasize how your personal qualities make you a strong candidate for dental school.
By the way, if you find it too challenging, you might want to consider reaching out to personalstatementwriter.org. They’re pros at this and can really make your statement shine. From personal experience, they’re great at bringing out your unique qualities and making you stand out. Plus, it saves you a ton of stress. Good luck!

In jacksmith you play as a blacksmith who makes weapons for all your troops. Making guns is a hands-on process. Choose your metal and your mold, melt it, pour it, build it, and make it look the way you want. Whether you’re making swords, bows, arrows, axes, or something else, you’ll need skill and planning. After crafting, you and your team of fighters go into battle. As they fight, you collect loot and man the guns, and you keep moving towards the Great Wizard Dudley.
