Fast Shader

This is a mod that reduces the processing of the shader and raises the frame rate per second of the NMS.

This is especially effective for low-spec GPUs. Enjoy a comfortable NMS!
Fast Shader does not support VR. Enjoy VR with beautiful vanilla graphics.

MIN especially disables shadows that are said to be GPU-intensive. Since the shadow function is not deleted, set the shadow setting to MIN.
Also does not perform standard Fast Shader optimization. Use this if you experience display problems. sorry.

MID additionally disables Depth Of Field and Particles. MotionBlur and TAA disable the function because the processing is large even with the OFF setting.
Also disables the effects displayed during UI display and NPC conversation. Optimize the display of galaxies and galaxy maps on the title screen.

MAX additionally disables Bloom, HBAO, LightShafts, SailingWay, SpeedLines, etc. The change in appearance is large.
Reduce the complexity of planetary terrain. If you want a normal display, increase the setting.

EXTREME also erases the display of the planet’s atmosphere and water, but it is light. Also disable some mask functions, such as scanning.
It would be nice if you could play NMS with CPU built-in GPU (Intel iGPU or AMD APU).

Please refrain from uploading the NMS play screen using Fast Shader.

Freighter Control – Allows Multiple Player Freighters in System


This mod changes GCDEBUGOPTIONS.GLOBAL and anything that modifies that file will be incompatible with this modification.


This tweak allows you to spawn your freighter in a system with other player freighters in the system. This tweak has been tested with two freighters but I do believe it should work on more than that.


  • My friend doesn’t have this mod, can I still warp multiple freighters in the system?
    • Yes! To do this through your friend must load their freighter in first then you can drop yours down!

Grass Correction (Vulkan Compatible)

This mod corrects the issue where grass fails to spawn on slight inclines, leaving huge areas as a patchy, craggy, terrible-looking mess. This mod changes no colors on its own. It Helps both lush grass types fill in correctly (both the taller grass types and the newer short type) and carries over the same grass fix to the megaexotics as well.

Works with experimental Vulkan update!

It is, overall a simple mod which only alters grass densities and grass spawn behavior on slopes. I have other plans for bigger changes, but I decided this grass correction made a phenomenal standalone mod.

Anyone who wishes has my permission to cannibalize, reverse engineer, or otherwise “steal” this work for any purpose that they desire.

Known issue: The grass generation sometimes fails when nearby larger floating islands (two grass layers overloads the placement mechanism). Ithis only causes grass not to appear normally, and does not harm performance or do anything permanent.

Tessellation FIX for 1.58

Just an update (for 1.58) of the mod “Tesselation Fix” : originally created by “Tias”

This will fix the muddy textures and flickering Terrain when you have Tesselation enabled.

You need to enable Tesselation here.

Look for

And change this to True
<Property name=”EnableTessellation” value=”True” />

Recommend changing the setting Terrain Quality to whatever you like in the menus after you have activated Tesselation.
You may need to have full screen mode for this option to appear.

I have effectively doubled all the values in Terrain Quality settings.
Medium is now High
High is now Ultra
Ultra is now Uber!!

This will of course affect your performance, find the proper settings accordingly.

Will be Incompatible with any mod that use GCGRAPHICSGLOBALS.GLOBAL


Exocraft Mining Laser Damage Temporary Fix

Increases the damage of the Exocraft’s basic mining laser from 8 to 360 (In the mod files, this increase is from 10 to 450).

The exocraft’s mining laser will now be more powerful than a good multitool. As a turret and considerably larger weapon than a handheld multitool, I would expect the laser’s power to scale accordingly.

The “8” damage that the mining laser does in default NMS is a bug and this mod attempts to fix or at least balance the weapon.

RUS Localization Fix

Исправлены тексты с валютой.
Исправлена ошибка отображения не верной валюты в качестве вознаграждения за исследования.
Исправлены ошибки, когда текст выезжает за рамки полей интерфейса.
Исправлены прочие мелкие неточности локализации в разных частях интерфейса.

Известные ошибки которые исправить не удалось, так как переменные вшиты в код .exe фала:
При подведении мыши на предметы в инвентаре, в подсказке попрежнему отображается не локализованный текст максимального кол-ва предемета в ячейке “Capacity”.
При установке постройки-обработчика материалов, его описание отображается как “MAINTENANCE”.
Разработчикам было отправлены сообщения об этих ошибках.

Nyxara’s Dialogue Fix! (ENG)

Has it ever bugged you that you have all the words in No Man’s Sky, yet the Freighter Captains and Nanite Vendors still had missing words? Well not any more with this mod! It adds new words to the races that allows you to learn the words required to finish the dialogues!

Shoutout to Ket for finding the missing piece of the puzzle I needed to finish this mod!

NipNip Plant Fix

This mod fixes the error associated with planting NipNip. It leads to the fact that you can not put NipNip outside the building outside the hydroponic block.

But my mod fixes it! Now you can plant NipNip on any planet with a forest biome. (Simply say, if StarBulb grows on this planet, you can plant NipNip)

Also, even if you delete the mod, then all the NipNips you planted will remain! And other players will also see them!
