I create from Scratch the mods that I use in my videos.

My tool, redmas Game Overhaul Generator Allows to generate very different game overhauls.
Containing every single mod that i ve created over 5 years of modding.
Mods changing visuals, gameplay, models, textures, behaviour of creatures, generation of planets, space, spaceships.

REDMAS UTOPIA REVAMP V1
does several basic tweaks, but include a planet diversity increase, while keeping compatibility with expeditions, base visits and vanilla players encounters
as shown in the demo.

This mod is meant to be played on NMS 4.1 +

V2 will come when mbincompiler tool will allow deeper changes.

Natural Flight

Natural Flight

Natural Flight is an overhaul of the flight mechanics for No Man’s Sky. It changes it from the easy, arcade style flight to a more challenging simulation style of gameplay. I was aiming to modify the flight, docking and planetary landings to be more like the original Elite and Elite Frontier from the 1980s and 1990s.

WARNING: Do not use this with Permadeath mode unless you try it out on a normal game save first, as it does increase the challenge of flying and docking, and increases damage with collisions. IT IS MUCH EASIER TO DIE.

Features:

  • No automatic reverse thrusters. (You need to slow down or you’ll crash.)
  • Your ship has momentum. (You will keep going in the same direction no matter what angle you aim your ship, unless you apply additional thrust in the reverse/different direction.)
  • You can turn your ship to fire in any direction, while retaining your original trajectory.
  • You can travel faster in space, and reverse thrusters are not designed for fast speeds. (To slow down quickly, you need to turn your whole ship around and fire your boosters. The reverse thrusters are designed only for slow speeds, such as when docking.)
  • Colliding with space stations, planets, asteroids or other obstacles will really damage your ship. (Your ship can be destroyed in a single collision in some cases.)
  • No safeguards when flying low on a planet. (You can fly very low while in a planets atmosphere, which means you need to watch where you’re going, or you’ll crash.)
  • You can fly much faster when in a planets atmosphere. (Just because you CAN fly faster, doesn’t mean you SHOULD. It can be very dangerous.)
  • When approaching a planet or station using the Pulse Engine, you exit the pulse jump at a very fast speed. (If you exit too close to the planet, or on too steep an angle, you can find yourself decorating the planets/stations surface.) 
  • Docking is more challenging. (The new physics makes it harder, but the auto landing mechanism will only kick in when you approach the station at an appropriate angle and at a slow speed. Be careful, because you can die quite easily when trying to dock.)
  • Reduced number of asteroids, but greater rewards from mining them.
  • Asteroids are dangerous to collide with.
  • You can initiate Pulse Jumps from within the high altitudes of a planets atmosphere, or closer to the space stations.
  • Probably a few other small adjustments that I can’t recall at the moment.

Compatibility

The current version will work with No Man’ Sky Visions 1.77.

Trade and Economy Mod NEXT

So Hello Games added a new trading system in 1.3 which is very cool but unfortunately only limited to specific 35 trade goods. In 1.5 for some reason they removed trade goods entirely from the space stations and other sales places so I added them back in.

I decided to make every product and substance in the game also be affected by this new trade system.

Basically, every item in the game now belongs to a certain class of items (Advanced material, scientific component, mineral, tech component, trade commodity or manufactured item) which corresponds to the 7 new types of economic systems added in the game. This means that each item in the game will have one type of system where it can be bought for much cheaper and one type of system where it can be sold for a lot more, enabling a lot more interesting trading.

I’ve also made items be even cheaper in systems where they are produced and more expensive in systems where they are needed to increase potential trading profits, this may be a little overpowered in the late game, I will probably add a more balanced version later for those who want to keep it realistic.

I’ve tried to give each item a realistic class although it wasn’t always easy, here are a few examples :

  • A Neutrino Module is a Tech Component which means it will sell for cheap in Tech systems and sell for a lot in Fuel Generation systems.
  • A Gek Charm is a Trade Commodity which means it will sell for cheap in Trading systems and sell for a lot in Advanced Material systems.
  • Ferrite Dust/Pure Ferite/Copper are Minerals which means they will sell for cheap in Ore Extraction systems and sell for a lot in Ore Processing systems.
  • Alloys of all kind (Aronium/Lemmium/Dirty Bronze, etc) are Advanced Materials which means they will sell for cheap in Advanced Material systems and sell for a lot in Scientific Systems.

Most of these are logical however they may be some inconsistencies so please report any item which feels out of place and should belong in another class.

I’ve also added a few more smaller changes to go along with the trade overhaul:

  • Stations and ships sell more items and a wider variety (a lot of items which were not allowed to be sold in the base game now are). 
  • The loss of value you get when selling many items has been reduced (not entirely removed)
  • Some items such as the more rare exotic elements (frost crystals, solanium, rubeum, viridium) have seen their base price significantly increased to better reflect their rarity

I’ve tried to keep things reasonably balanced however there will probably be exploits and this definitely makes money making easier. 

Please report any bugs you find and anything you want changed.

The mod is currently compatible with 1.5 NEXT update.

Spaceflight Overhaul, Pathfinder Edition.

This mod presents my personal take on what spaceflight both outside and inside of the atmosphere should be like:

• It is more “involved” and allows a higher top speed.

• You can turn your ship in space and as long as you arent throttling, you can look around without your direction changing at any speed.

• It features lower acceleration than the original pulse engine, but in turn you are able to reach a much higher top speed, allowing much more precise control of your speed.

• When you release the boost button, you no longer lose your gained speed, so you can finally cruise in space at high speeds.

• Turning is no longer instant, so you will have to plan your destination ahead of time, or risk hitting asteroids/space stations.

• There’s an actual point to using your brakes now.

• The ability to hover on planets.

• The ability to go in reverse on planets.

• The ability to fly low on planets.

• Reduced planetary thrust, increased planetary boost forces. (25% reduction to normal engine, 75% increase to booster) to better control your speeds

Hello guys! I’ve been away for a while but I am back with this killer mod! This changes YOU, the player, to a female! So ever breath, every pain and every jump will be felt as if you play as a female character. I have tried really hard on this one. A video should be up soon, I have too slow internet so if someone could help me out, that would be great but…. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

FINALLY. THE TIME HAS COME, YOU CAN NOW PLAY AS A FEMALE IN NO MAN’S SKY!

Yes, so this changes all the Breath sounds. Every time you suffer from Hyperthermia, you hear a woman. That woman is you.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod works with every mod. This also goes really well with Exosuit – For Women so please check that out! As long as any other mods DO NOT edit the breath sounds, this will work ? 

BEFORE YOU INSTALL

  1. Make sure you have SOUND turned up to at-least 50 in the game settings. The breath sounds are quite quiet in the vanilla game and if I turned up the female ones it sounds like an elephant (literally), so please make sure SOUND is turned on.
  2. This mod doesn’t change the look of your character. There is sick people asking me to make ‘boobs’ and other things which are extremely vulgar. I’m not a female myself, but that is disgusting. I won’t be the modder to make NMS into a sexual experience. Some people are really weird ¯_(ツ)_/¯
  3. Please leave any feedback if you find any issues.

KNOWN ‘PROBLEMS’

  1. There is a sound which sounds like a man. It usually happens when exiting your ship. It is not a man, trust me. Its the way it gets put into the game essentially. It is still a woman. Think of it like… adjusting to the atmosphere.
  2. Some sounds overlap each-other. Again, this is the vanilla game being a little bitch. Nothing I can do about this, yet.

This mod completely replaces the normal textures with cloud stocks taken from the real world. Resolution wise, this mod replaces the low-res old textures (1024×512) with complete overkill (8192×4096). And yes I am insane, but my insanity makes a prettier game, so… 😛

 

Before you say anything, the cloud texture looks bland (doesn’t cover as much of planets), I know. I’m working on fixing this issue and will release an update soon!
