Classic UI Font

Classic UI Font

Changes all text displayed through the game’s interface to the No Man’s Sky font, resulting in a UI that more closely resembles what we saw in early previews.

This is based on etechucacuca’s font mod here. I modified the font to only display in upper case letters, and also slightly emboldened the characters to improve legibility.

I recommend using this with No Black Bars and Short Tech Names.

Remove Journey Milestones

Remove Journey Milestones

NOTE: This mod is now compatible with the Pathfinder Update (v1.22)!

– DESCRIPTION –

This mod will disable those annoying journey milestone popups that steal your HUD and prevent you from doing anything. The way this works is that it sets all the requirements for all milestones to 0. This means that when loading into a game, all journey milestones are detected as being achieved. This also means that all milestone levels will be unlocked, meaning you don’t have to worry about interactions with Atlas being gated!

NOTE: This does NOT unlock all Steam achievements. If you still want to unlock those achievements, delete this mod and reload your game.

Yes, you read that correctly! When you install this mod, all journey milestones are unlocked and achieved (but not in Steam). When you delete the mod, all of your original journey milestones are restored, and you can keep playing to keep unlocking them.

This works on any save game, which means you can start a brand new file, and never have to worry about these annoying popups!

– NOTES –

There is another mod that is similar to this one, found here. That mod needed to be updated, and also modified a few things that didn’t need to be changed.

I have not tested any other stats that might cause a journey milestone to pop up, only the ones listed on the Journey page in the menus. If I missed some, please let me know!

You should not experience any crashes using this mod. However, if you do, please let me know.

MINIHUD2

MINIHUD2

The previous two versions of MINIHUD (for centered and original positions) updated with smaller info messages and icons.

No Pickups Icons

No Pickups Icons

Aiming for  immersion, this mod simply removes the pickups icons shown by the scanner but keeps his functionality of highlighting them and finding the "radio frequency" of the shelters, monoliths and other buildings.

I recommend to use it with the following mods for a more complete and “hardcore survival experience” :

You may also add Mountains of 701 by ScoochyDC to spice up the terrain generator and any mod that increase the number of creatures (Creatures Revamped for example).

MINIHUDs for 21:9

MINIHUDs for 21:9

Contains both versions of MINIHUD released before but for 21:9 displays. It should fix HUD stretching, won’t affect your inventory and other stuff. For 21:9 displays only.

No Boldcaster Hit Marker (clearer aim)

No Boldcaster Hit Marker (clearer aim)

As the marker appears with no distinction between targeted enemies and environment, and with the purpose to clear the aim, I removed the boldcaster hit marker.

Could be used with the “No Scanning Eyes or Orange Warnings Drone Sign” mod to clear combat scenes.

No Scanning Eyes or Orange Warnings Drone Sign

No Scanning Eyes or Orange Warnings Drone Sign

That mod that removes the red sign one from the attacking creatures, the blue eye from the drones scanning you, and the orange warning sign above there “hum” head. The arrows on the side give you the direction of the threat.

MINIHUD Original Positions

MINIHUD Original Positions

HUD redesign, same as MINIHUD but the elements are at the corners of the screen as in the original layout. For the elements grouped around the middle of the screen see http://videogamemods.com/nomanssky/mods/minihud/
