I am new to modding XV2 and I don’t know how to make one of these hairs as a transformed hairstyle for lazybones new transformations mod, could someone please tell me how.

Hi. One question. You see I have tried your mods and they are good. Especially the one to add more hairstyle. And my question is if he is able to one day put hairstyles based on the video game “Genshi Impact”? It would be interesting, especially to have female characters with some of those hairstyles. Greetings

Hi so I would really appreciate if you help me with something, so I downloaded the Hapi (pre timeskip) hair and and called it 002 and for some reason it gets black in certain angles. The hair works but in some angles for some reason it just goes black and then returns to normal.
Do you know how to fix this? Thanks, and really nice work these are glorious.

Make sure both model 1 and model 2 values are the same.

Being a fan of both Dragon Ball and Three Houses, this is amazing. Literally one of the best hair mods I have seen. Do you have any other plans to fit Three Houses into Xenoverse 2 again?
Report
This is nice

Hi I saw your other comment on the cac to x2m situation and im still having trouble. Is there a place I can ask you for assistance. I edited the BCS file but im unsure if what I did was correct. Would appreciate a response, thank you.

You wouldn’t happen to have a guide on how you created the physics-based hair?
Tried reverse engineering how you set everything up, but my hair just ends up freezing the game when picking the hairstyle
Report
I wanted to make a guide, but my capabilities are extremely primitive. Here are my steps:
1. fit the hair to the right location on a regular skeleton/body and rig 100% to b_C_Head
2. import an already existing physics hair with its skeleton
3. move the head bone of the regular body to the same location as the one in the physics body in pose mode, then apply the armature modifier
4. transfer weights from the existing physics hair to the one I’m making, make sure my new hairstyle is now rigged to the physics skeleton
5. delete the source hair model, export the new one
6. use the SCD and ESK files from the source physics hair model
7. make sure the hair is attached to the right bone in BCS (has to be the same bone as in the source hairstyle)
I haven’t experienced a game freeze myself, it’s usually either a crash, if the model is corrupted, or the model not loading, if any of the files are missing, which can result in a softlock.

This is awesome.
Also, any chance that you might add hairstyles from other FE series? Camilla’s hair from Fates is the one I’d like to see made the most.
Report
I don’t think the 3DS hairstyles have enough polys to look good in Xenoverse, but I might make a hair pack out of characters from Warriors, and she’s there.

I’m not really familiar with the modding scene but I do have a question.
So I used CAC2X2m to transfer my characters to the roster and I use some of these hairs for them. However my character’s hair is gone and they’re basically bald. Is there a reason this happens?

For some reason CaC2x2m or the patcher doesn’t interact well with parts that use unorthodox names. You have to fix it manually by extracting the character folder from the x2m, changing the name of the hair parts and editing the BCS accordingly.
For the hair files, you have to change the part that is the character’s name (like HUF_Annette_Hair) to a 3 digit number from 000 to 999 (any will do, but all four hair files have to have it changed to the same thing).
For the BCS, you have to either serialize it to xml with XV2 XML Serializer, or edit it directly with YaBCS, then for each of the in game partset (the first x partsets, depending on how many presets you chose to include for that character) change the hair part by clearing the FILES variables, and changing the model variables to the number you picked.
