Meme Music Variety Minipack (7 Additional Music Tracks!)

"Memes, the DNA of the soul..."

Yeah, tomorrow is April Fools' Day (at least where I live by the time I'm writing this description. By the time this mod gets approved and published, it might just be today!), so, on a bit of a whim, I thought it would be a fun idea to take some time out of my day to rip a bunch of music from random different sources that have some memetic association, and add them as extra selectable music tracks to Xenoverse, just like all of my other mods. Some memes here are thriving more than others, but I think this is all good music all the same. Basically all of these are given custom, seamless looping as well (yeah, I even put effort into my jokes 💀).

All of these tracks (with the exception of two that are from the same source) I decided to put into separate installers too, since I figure all of this different music will be appealing to different people. This way, you can simply pick and choose what music from this pack you actually want to install, instead of filling up space with tracks you may not care about at all in your game.

I've been putting a lot of work into my next, serious, DB game-themed music pack in the meantime. It's a big one this time, so I hope you guys will look forward to that. For now though, have a merry April Fools'!

Since there's quite a bit of variety here unlike my previous music packs which basically consist of putting the entirety of a single source's soundtrack into the game, but also a way smaller amount of tracks (making the process of making a list more convenient for me), I feel a need to actually list off what's in here this time, so here's the rundown:

  • Two Songs from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance; The Only Thing I Know for Real & It Has to Be This Way
  • MEGALOVANIA from UNDERTALE
  • Bakamitai (Dame Da Ne) from the Yakuza games
  • That one iconic Among Us trap remix by Leonz.
  • You Say Run from My Hero Academia
  • One more, mystery song. What is it? I dunno, install it and find out.

A quick precaution before installing

I doubt installing this small pack will make you reach it, but there is a bit of a cap to how many extra, modded music tracks you can install before the game starts kinda saying no to them. The installer will still tell you the music installed successfully, the tracks will show up as selectable options in-game, and can even be listened to with the "Replay BGM"  input in the selection menu, but if you try to select any music track in-game that goes past a limit of 200+ (you may be able to get away with slightly more, but this is the general range I've observed) additional, modded music cues, the game will automatically choose to play one of the vanilla game's tracks instead, so basically, you can't actually play the game with that music. If this sounds like something that just so happens to be happening to you after installing and trying out one of my mods, keep that in mind if you have multiple music packs (like my other ones) installed at a time.

    1. Lol that’s not actually what the mystery is, and I already do specify the meme song Armstrong is associated with and list it off separately from the “mystery song” in the bullet points. I think you might’ve gotten a little confused somewhere.
