(3.4 UPDATE) Super Saiyan (1/2/3/4/5) Transformation Skill!

Unlock the power of Super Saiyans 1 through 5 and gain access to iconic Ultimate skills exclusive to each form (including base!)

You can also skip forms as long as it's higher than your current stage. The button inputs are as followed:

Super Saiyan 2 = Transform + Jump (with at least 200 Ki)

Super Saiyan 3 = Transform + Light Attack (with at least 300 Ki)

Super Saiyan 4 = Transform + Strong Attack (with at least 400 Ki)

Super Saiyan 5 = Transform + Ki Blast (with at least 500 Ki)

You can press "Block" for a short time when your transformation starts instead to revert directly back to base. You can also revert to any form as long as you're already in a higher form. The button inputs for that are as followed:

Super Saiyan = Transform + Right (with at least 100 Ki)

Super Saiyan 2 = Transform + Down (with at least 200 Ki)

Super Saiyan 3 = Transform + Left (with at least 300 Ki)

Super Saiyan 4 = Transform + Up (with less than 500 Ki)

If you don't meet the Ki requirements you'll simply revert to base. Otherwise transform as normal to reach a greater form or revert to base if you're in Super Saiyan 5.

Each form, including Base, has been given access to an iconic Ultimate skill that is tied to specific forms which are as followed:

Base = Super Spirit Bomb (Festival) (Transform + Up) (300 Ki)

Super Saiyan = Angry Kamehameha (Transform + Up) (400 Ki)

Super Saiyan 2 = Final Flash (Transform + Up) (300 Ki)

Super Saiyan 3 = Dragon Fist (Transform + Up) (500 Ki)

Super Saiyan 4 = x10 Kamehameha (Transform + Up) (500 Ki)

Super Saiyan 5 = Godly Display (Transform + Up) (500 Ki)

Note: The eyes included for SYM do not support eye movement so things like Super Spirit Bomb (Festival) won't look right for them. If that bothers you enough then I suggest replacing the 297_face_eye and 297_face_forehead files to ones that do support eye movement.

IDs are as followed:

Hair/Forehead/Eye:

297 = SSJ

298 = SSJ2

299 = SSJ3

256 = SSJ4 (Also Eye for SSJ5)

566 = SSJ5

Bust:

256 = SSJ4

566 = SSJ5

Make sure you have all of these in your data/chara/HUM and HUF folders otherwise you'll get an infinite loading screen. Beware that I include hair files for IDs 297, 298, 299, 256 and 566 so if you already have these IDs make sure you back them up.

There is also a download to a version without the IDs included in case you already have these IDs (you would know) as well as a RAR with them all included separately in case you just need specific files. This is the best way I can think to circumvent the issue of infinite loading screens without overwriting everyone's files. There is also the old version included in case you don't like these new changes.

3.0:

  • Added Ultimate skills to each stage
  • Added the ability to manually revert to your desired form rather than needing to revert to Base form first
  • Removed the ability to skip forms very late into the animation, that was unintended
  • Changed hair color for SSJ, SSJ2 and SSJ3 as there was a coloring issue with the ID chosen for some people depending on their BCS.
  • Changed U 44 value from 5 to -256

3.1: Changed SSJ4 Bust ID from 564 to 256

3.1.1: Changed SSJ5's partset information to match the ID change for SSJ4

3.2:

  • Added back the 564 bust to the files in order to fix an issue where reinstalling the transformation after the 3.1 update without uninstalling the BCS entry file would cause infinite loading. While you can still uninstall then reinstall and delete the 564 bust, this should hopefully eliminate the possibility of infinite loading screens arising as a result of the bust ID change.
  • Added standalone version of Super Saiyan 5. This version can still use Super Spirit Bomb in base (you'll become SSJ5 during the attack) and Godly Display. Keep in mind this version is just lightly edited from the all-in-one transformation so the file size is still big, especially for a 1 stage transformation. It will however of course work as intended.

3.3: Added 2 "new" downloads, this is for people who don't have modded auras installed, Super Saiyan 5 will use Potential Unleashed aura instead of a custom SSJ5 aura ID. 3.3.1: SSJ5 no longer uses SSJ4's bust for the model. This will allow you to use 2 entirely different busts if you want to.

3.4: Transforming ultimates are no longer tied to CUS_Auras/BH66. This means that you can now use your own BH66 (i.e for transforming movesets/skillsets) without altering the ultimates used on each form.

  1. is there a way we can change the mod with one of the tools so that ssj1-3 will also teleport while using blast supers? the normal versions of these transformations have this “perk”.. if not , thats cool :D. i know nothing about modding… i have only messed around with the character/ss editors

    1. Hey, glad you got your hair figured out! :D,

      So unfortunately due to the way I added the transforming ultimates to the transformation, it’s POSSIBLE to get the teleport to work but doing that will cause those forms to use Godly Display instead of their designated skills.

      If you don’t mind that then open up the transformation in the skill creator and in the transformation tab tick “Force Teleport” for Entry 0, 1 and 2.

  2. Awesome mod! i had to download the transformations mod to get the tail’s to animate but it worked :). for some reason the hair will not change though.. its the same hair in all transformations accept ssj3 and ssj5., i think its the number 6 in the character creator ., i have checked the HUM file and all the ones you specified are there from the added files download., i did a fresh install with only your mod and it still happens.. i have no idea what is causing it 🙁

    1. Yes unfortunately I added files with the transforming IDs so that way people with no hair files wouldn’t get an infinite loading screen. You’ll need to replace the hair files with custom hairs after installing the mod.

      1. ok, so if i want the hair to transform to ssj4 hair while in ssj4 form, i need to find a hair transform mod.. the transform hair ID’s in the download are there to just to fill in the gaps so that the file works correctly?

      2. nvm,. 🙂 i got it working,. i just installed vegito’s transformable hair for cac mod, and it works now :). i just need to grab a ssj5 aura from deez pack and im good to go!!! gonna make a super soul for this mod and go wreck stuff.. thanks again! 😀

    1. Unfortunately no, I might change that in the future but if you need an immediate solution you have 2 options I recommend for you to use to accomplish that yourself:
      1. Edit your BCS to remove the changes for those forms
      2. Edit the costume attachment the form uses before you install it.

      You could also make copies of your hair to use 297 and 298 IDs if you want to keep the face changes but not the hair changes.

  3. Im sorry, but I am having trouble installing the mod.

    1. So I downloaded the Super Saiyan (1,2,3,4,5) (Files added) (PU SSJ5 ID).rar

    2. I extracted it

    3. I installed the x2m file using the xv2Installer

    4. I moved all the files in JUNGLE/data/ into the data folder in the Xenoverse 2 bin

    5. I copied/pasted the SKILL folder in the Xenoverse 2/data/skill folder

    After doing this I am not seeing the skill in the item shop. I know for sure that I am installing this incorrectly, but I could not figure out where. What is the correct way to install this mod?

    1. Okay so there’s a few interesting things here.

      The downloads for the transformation don’t come in RAR format, you should have just been able to double click the file and install it with no extra steps like extracting it or adding the folders manually (which for future reference wouldn’t work anyway)

      If that’s not working could you perhaps DM me on discord (search my name in The Citadel if you’re in there) so I could try to help you more properly? It sounds like you’re experiencing a very strange issue.

    1. No files added is for people who already have all the files needed to load the transformation and/or who have the knowledge of how to use the RAR. It’s intended as an alternative to just replacing everyone’s custom hair/eye files.

      The files added version is basically for people who don’t really care what their character looks like while using the transformations.

    1. You’re missing one or more files. If you installed the “No files added” version and don’t have file IDs that are in the rar that would be why. Open the RAR and drag the folders into your directory > data > chara folder.

  4. Sorry, One more thing! This is just a suggestion, but is it possible to do a Super Gotenks skill? Like, it goes to SSJ1 but then skips straight to 3, with a hair change and no hair change (for SSJ1) version?

    1. Yeah I could, honestly kinda shocking that one doesn’t exist already. Not sure when I’d get to it as I already have a few transformation lines planned so it probably wouldn’t be this month or next month but it will probably be made eventually!

    1. Yes it kinda goes without saying but unfortunately the base game doesn’t have a Super Saiyan 5 aura so I used the custom aura ID from Deez Auras by Deez Mods Only.

      If you don’t want to install the SSJ5 aura from Deez Auras you can edit it in the skill creator and give stage 4 in the transformation tab one of the following aura IDs as a sort of substitute for it.

      15 – Potential Unleashed
      36 – Ultra Instinct
      51 – Ultra Instinct Omen

  5. hello, i have one more question. I’m trying to use an SSJ3 hair that I like for this mod, but it ends up yellow despite me not replacing the DYT. the X2VINS skill create did not work either. How can I make it silver?

  6. very cool ssj 1-5 mod from you especially the ssj5 hair, but on my syf i see a small somekind of issue with the connection with the hair and forehead. i tested an other ssj5 hairstyle and it was gone. would be nice if you look for that because i like your ssj5 hair.

    1. Uhhhhh do me a favor and test that SSJ5 hair on a transformation besides mine, that sounds like an issue with the hair itself but I don’t know enough about it to say for sure.

      My SSJ5 hair I got from here: https://videogamemods.com/xenoverse/mods/tercress-full-transformation-line-hair-for-humsym/ personally I think it’s the best free hair pack available, has every hair shape you could possibly need (aside from SSJ3 but there’s a bunch that just work in a general sense) and can’t advocate for it enough!

      Unfortunately I’m not sure it works for SYF/HUF, you’d probably need to do some blender magic for that.

    2. Actually now that I’m thinking about it the SYF SSJ5 hair I added is just the base game SSJ3 hair, it’s meant as a placeholder to avoid infinite loading screens but if that’s the one you mean it shouldn’t have any problems that SSJ3 doesn’t.

  7. this is probably my favourite iteration of any transformation pack/line that involves the “primal saiyan” path! absolutely love everything you’ve combined and puzzled together to make this beaut! i still for some reason have an infinite loading screen from updating to this new version of the mod, despite downloading the added files version
    could it also be a problem with the deez mods auras ive installed?

      Unfortunately I don’t believe the auras would cause an infinite loading screen. I’ll take a look at it but I *believe* what happened is the way reinstalling skills works is it uninstalls/deletes the files it previously installed into the specified folders and then reinstalls them from the updated X2M but does NOT reinstall the BCS file that tells the game which files to use so it’s still trying to load the 564 bust and because I removed it from the X2M it didn’t get reinstalled, hence the infinite loading.

      If that is the case it’s definitely an oversight on my part, I’m gonna re-add the 564 bust to avoid this for others in the future, I won’t be able to for another few days so in the meantime please go to your XV2INS and uninstall the mod titled “SSJ (1/2/3/4/5) BCS Entry” (if you sort by author it should be easy to find) and then reinstall the transformation and let me know if that fixes your issue.

    1. Oh that’s definitely weird. Could you DM me either on here or in the citadel (just search AlphaGames on there you’ll find me) with more details, like pictures and stuff like that? I’d like to get a better idea of what the issue is so I can try to help figure it out, never heard of anything like what you’re describing before.

    1. It could but for some reason when I started the first and only SSJ4 mod I used had 564 set for the bust so 564 is the normal ID for me. Honestly didn’t even know 256 was the “normal” bust ID until after I made this mod and I just never remembered to change it.

      I’ll do that now since you reminded me about it.

        1. Whoops very sorry about that! I forgot SSJ5 uses SSJ4’s bust as a dependency and didn’t change that ID to 256. Without your log I can only assume that’s the issue so I’m uploading the fix for that as we speak but if you still get another infinite loading screen please don’t hesitate to DM me so I can get more details to fix it ASAP.

          2. Hey of course, glad it’s working now! To be honest I hate the idea of making a mod that’s unusable or inconvenient to use so I try my best to avoid it when I can. Unfortunately I’m still figuring out transformations as far as how to make them convenient and seamless for everybody, not 100% sure there’s a “good” way to do that but I think what I’ve done with the separate downloads is a decent band-aid at least.

    1. I’m not 100% sure what you mean but if you’re talking about colorable tails I don’t think there’s a way to do it without including a tail mod with it. I think if you have a colorable tail mod installed it should just work though.

  8. I’m playing on mouse and keyboard. The “skip transformations” binds don’t seem to work no matter how I time the additional input. I tried skipping stages using a spare controller I had around and it worked using a controller. Thing is I hate using a controller for pc games. Is there any way around this?

    1. Oh that’s odd. I haven’t tested it on keyboard & mouse but the way I have it set up it’s supposed to just use whatever key is bound to the inputs listed, honestly I’m clueless as to why it would be treating keyboard and mouse differently. 🙁

      I’ll mess around with it and get back to you but thank you for bringing it to my attention!

    1. I had to throw hair files into the X2M because too many people were getting infinite loading screens from not having them. I didn’t want to have to do that because of situations like yours though, I hope you backed them up or know where you got them from.

      In the hopefully near future I’m gonna make 2 different versions, 1 with hair files attached and 2 without. I was incredibly new to this when this mod was uploaded and didn’t know which hairs were necessary to include so I did all of them. When I update it I’ll just include the SSJ4 and 5 hairs.

    1. If you mean the specific hair model I use in the video then likely not, I’m (admittedly somwhat overly) cautious about adding modded assets I didn’t explicitly get permission for but if you’re in the Citadel just search for “SSJ3 REVAMP adapted for the cac”, it should come up.

    1. Yeah that is definitely incredibly odd, hope it’s not the SE again cause I have no idea how else to fix that. I’m gonna test that out myself and see if I can recreate it though, if I can I might be able to figure it out and fix it but thank you for letting me know about it!

    1. Not to this one as I’m pretty happy with it but maybe in the future I’ll remake it in a different skill with those 2 added. I’d have to see about the files and which IDs to use and stuff like that which I’m honestly not keen on doing atm.

    1. I think it’s because I use Deez Auras and the IDs must be somewhat different from other aura mods. If your aura mod includes a list of aura IDs you can go to SSJ5 in the skill creator and change them out manually or if it doesn’t/you don’t want to mess with the skill creator you can install Deez Aura’s SSJ5 aura.
